I found this after searching for ways to keep my baby gate attached to my crumbly old drywall. I have a baby gate that is like a roll up fence- it creates quite a bit of tension on the wall and has come lose several times (there were unfortunately no studs where I needed the gate placed). After many attempts at repair I used this tool and it's done a fantastic job of keeping the gate secure.It creates a brace behind the wall, so you're essentially bolting into a metal frame behind the drywall instead of just trying to grip a screw into the drywall. I recommend 100% for anyone in need of something to hold into drywall for an item that's either heavy or puts lots of tension on the wall.

Received it today I used it right away because my wife's towel holder fell off the wallI reinstalled it and scored some pointsIt worked well and way easier than expected should of got one years ago

Works well once you get the hang of it. Little tricky at first. But great tool for hanging items. I would buy it again for sure.

The tool itself works as advertised. However, the mollies that come with it snap off inside the wall, and not due to over tightening. I tried both with the tool and just by using a screw driver the conventional method and they stripped out or broke off entirely.

our towel holder in the bathroom was coming off so i ordered these and boy did they not disappoint! super heavy duty and they snug up and bite into the drywall very well!

This is an awesome tool for installing drywall anchors easily. I don't have to do this often, but I don't like having to hammer in plastic anchors or worry about a screw pulling through. This is great and the metal anchors seem much stronger!

The installation tool is of fair quality, and works OK on the larger anchors. The smaller anchors do not fit the tool properly and are very difficult to use. The worst thing is the horrible quality of these anchors: They bend out of shape if you look at then crossly. I went through five anchors to get three set. PASS!

This is a great kit. The tool feels solid and sturdy, it should last a very long time. The handle is soft and very greppable. It will be a chore for smaller hands to squeeze the handles together. There is a nice variety of lengths and widths in the molly bolts provided. When references are made to the sizes, it is mostly in metric, and when it lists standard sizes, it is using decimal versions (.312”) instead of the more US recognized fractions (5/16). I have included one picture that shows the hole size that should be drilled for each bolt size.This tool is easy to use but just be sure that the screw head is not between the black u-shaped piece and the green part of the tool (see pic 3).The down side to molly bolts whether you use this tool or not is when you don’t want to mount something anymore where you put the molly bolt. You can’t pull it out and if you punch it in all the way thru you’ll end up with a bigger hole than you drilled because of the bolt head that goes against the dry wall. What I have done in the past is to hammer the bolt in just enough to where you can use a touch of plaster to cover it up.
