three years to finish this book but well worth the time to learn from a real source not media spewing.

I would recommend this book for anybody who would like to read about the Prophet of Islam. The book is quite objective and insightful into the happenings of the time the prophet was born. It also tries to give a critical analysis of other biographies both from the "orientalist" and Muslim scholars alike.

Author is knowledgeable and has done thorough research. I like the style of the script. It keeps the reader's interest.

Even I just read 7% of this book but I felt it is very middle way to write it and when there are difference betwoon Author and other historians they have discuss notes, therefore I think it is a good historic story book.

Basics essentials on historical prospect have been well cleared by the author. The portray of Arabia before islam and the its global spread have been well explained.

I already have it in hardback, but I wanted a digital copy.This biography is not just a really great telling of the story of the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) but also contains analyses of the events shaped his life and mission.31 or so chapters – you could easily complete it in a month.I would recommend it to everyone.

Very clear detailed the author is very knowledgeable in the history of the Prophet PBUH. Ideal read for non Muslims who want to understand the back grounds to Islam.

I was mesmarised as I was reading this historical events. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this history or call it biography of a man with a vision and inspired by none but by the almighty God. The author tried to describe events of history beautifully in proper chronological order giving a picture or senario of 7th century. I can not say all events are 100% authentic as author did not quote reference he obtained. However, history is a history. No history is 100% authentic.I suppose, the book was published in a hurry and the translator made many typographical mistakes for which I rated 4 star. I shall recommend this book to anyone want to know the life of a great and noble and gentle person like Muhammad.
