Does exactly what you need it to do, extend meta game time, this was even able to charge the headset while actively playing a game on it, most I've tried will just hold the power at the level it's being used, I'm not sure if this is a positive or a negative but it's been my experience.Overall fantastic value here I personally like the way the straps that come with the meta work I have tried halo style straps on the psvr2, the rift 2 and some windows mixed reality headsets back in the day and could never get used to the pressure on the back of my head. This setup lets me have an upgraded battery without having to buy an "upgraded" head strap.

My 8yr old plays his Oculus quest 3s constantly & was begging for an extra battery so he wouldn't have to get off every time it died. I looked at so many battery extensions with straps. Alot of them were pretty pricey too. I read so many reviews & ultimately chose this one so he wouldn't have the weight of the battery extension on his head & neck, & so he could still lay back with it on. It's Day 3 with it & so far this battery is great! It works so good! It takes his VR from nearly dead to over halfway charged so fast! It's so easy to put on & to connect. My son says it's great! I absolutely recommend this!

My son received this for Christmas It does seem to give him extra time on his VR than he would have had just with the normal battery he seems to enjoy it It allows him to be able to finish up his game without having to stop and charge it and start playing again

I usually don’t write reviews but this is infinitely better than the other options I’ve tried and it’s worth your time and money. So for context I was originally using 2 5000MAH batteries designed for the quest 2 that normally go on the side rail but since the quest 3 didn’t support those, I was using Velcro ties to keep them in the middle of the Kiwi elite strap headband. I absolutely HATED this setup but was too lazy to buy something else. Eventually I caved in and bought this one.I wasn’t too jazzed about the form factor since I hated the idea of having batteries so close to my chest but they wound up being barely noticeable in practice. For my use case they lasted about 5 hours while playing VRchat on virtual desktop on the low streaming settings so your mileage may vary and you may want a second one if you want to run at at a higher preset.. The cable is slightly noticeable at first when plugged in but it doesn’t pull down on the quest at all so it’s good for high motion stuff as well. When actually using it I barely noticed either the cable or the battery pack which is everything to look for with this kind of design.Overall it’s a great value backed by a reliable brand when you consider how bad the quest battery is without it. With this it’s so effortless to just put on your neck and get a long binge of VR after a long day.

For the Quest 3, which certainly doesn't last long over gaming sessions, this is an incredible add-on. The device feels soft to the touch on the section around the neck, it holds a great amount of battery, and the main selling point is that is rests on your neck rather than making your headset any bigger than it needs to be. It means you can still rest the back of your head when in VR, you won't have more weight on your neck, and it's just sleaker.Great buy.

Got around 5 hours of continuous battery life out of my Quest 3. Still had 56% battery on the Quest when I turned it off. Lasted through playing 3 games, watching tv, and Amazon Prime on BigScreen. Forgot I was wearing the charger most of the time.

I recently got a Quest 3 and was super bummed with the short battery life. If you’re playing a demanding game like Asgard’s Wrath 2, Golf+, or Assassin’s Creed, you’ll literally get about 30 minutes out of it, maybe a bit more with battery saver on.This battery pack, however, extends the playtime to at least a couple of hours. I haven’t pushed it to the limits yet, but the Quest’s battery percentage didn’t drop once while playing Golf+ for an hour, and the battery pack was still at around 50%.So, if you’re planning on getting a Quest 3, this is essential. Plus, it’s comfy sitting around your neck, it actually looks nice and not too heavy.
