This acoustic shield has solid, heavy duty construction. The foam is good quality and really good at cutting out reverberations. The metal side panels are adjustable to make it more intimate. They also have perforations to allow lower frequencies to pass through which helps prevent sound coloration. When setting it up, the mic needs to be positioned along the track to optimize its position. While it doesn’t replace an isolation booth, it is handy in a small studio to improve sound quality significantly. The panels are pretty heavy so I would recommend using a speaker stand, rather than a microphone stand to hold it.

Its a really well built sturdy piece of kit that allows her to reduce background noise and get much clearer voice overs etc. It does fold up so can be stored easily and she thinks its very professional looking so we think great value for money.
