100 Pieces Dishwasher Rack Tip Tine Cover Caps Prong Rack Caps Just Push on to Repair, 1/8 Inch/ 3 mm in Inner Diameter (Gray)

When I priced up 2 new racks for my Bosch dishwasher, I was annoyed to see that for and extra £20 I could buy a Brand New dishwasher!! So I've decided to try these with the little bottle of liquid plastic. How brilliant are these? Easily fits over the top of the prongs, I've put one on Every prong whether rusted or not, and have liquid coated the bases where the prongs have moved and split the plastic. Would I recommend these? Absolutely!

We bought these as we were starting to get rusty spokes in our dishwasher. We looked at replacing the tray but this was very expensive.Since fitting these the dishwasher has functioned correctly and the rust is no longer visible.The only complaint is that occasionally a spoke will fall off in the wash process. This causes no issues as we simply slide it back into place

Make sure you buy the right size, and they will prolong the life expectancy of your expensive dishwasher shelves considerably. Bought 2 bags to cover both top and bottom shelves when I replaced them, and so glad that I did it. Sharp objects like metal pans and stainless steel lemon squeezer damage the coating over time and the water can run through the inside of the coating to damage the bottom.By observing how my old shelves became ruined, I found a few points to remember to not to repeat the same mistakes:* Do not put blender blades directly on the metal racks - my smoothie blades now sit on the plastic rack on the side, and I place carefully the food processor blade so that it won't scratch the coating during the cycle.* Do not force the pan between the racks designed for dishes - I now place them on an open space where the racks are flattened.* When emptying the content, make sure that the edges are not scratching the surface of the coating - didn't think about it before, but just thinking about it makes a difference.I am going to observe how much difference it will make in 5 years time to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of my dishwasher (hopefully). Will see.

I didn’t know I needed these until I saw them by chance. Great addition to the dishwasher and just in time as I hadn’t realised that the top of the prongs were starting to corrode.

Moved into a new house with built in dishwasher. Unfortunately the trays have rusted prongs (50% of them!). New dishwasher trays from Siemens are a joke at £125 per level (so £250!!!!!!). Saw these and though what a great idea.ProsFairly easy to fit on with a bit of a forceCover up the unsightly rusted tipsStop crockery getting scratched etcConsAll are orange after just three washes, clearly easily stained by tomato based sauces.A single pack of 100 was not enough tips to cover all the prongs in the dishwasher! So count first since you may need two bags etc.You will lose some tips! They seem to either come off in the wash cycle or get caught when removing items. After around months we’ve lost about 10. At this rate it’ll cost me c100 extra each year to keep them all covered. Also not sure where they are going so a little concerned they might be getting stuck in internal workings of dishwasher and may cause issues/blockages.Not sure if I’ll buy more, may look at alternative solutions....

Easy to fit but they come off too easily - constantly have to refit them.

My dishwasher prongs were rusting and while looking for a new rack which I decided was too expensive as the machine is old I discovered these. They’ve been in about a month to six weeks now and none have gone off or discoloured so I’m delighted.I couldn’t fit them on the ones that had rusted so much the metal had swollen up but I used grey sugru instead on those which has solved that! New lease of life for only a few ££

My rack ends were rusting so I bought these to cover them after rust treatment as my plates were getting marked. They worked brilliantly but the grey colour changed on first use to brown. In saying that they do the job and Much cheaper than buying a new rack or dishwasher. I do not worry about the colour. Better than the rust.
