Doesn’t hold together, discs break when pulling through.
I’m such a nerd I know but haven’t been so excited to use a new product as I was for this. I got it as a Christmas gift I wanted it so bad so maybe that’s why I’m so disappointed. So the mold itself comes with no instructions or a heads up that after you’ve made your four batch’s of four different color soaps and get them poured and layered into the mold that before you ever get to even pull the disc through that the sides of the mold will separate and all that soap will pour out of the mold and onto the floor wasting 4 batches of soup. Maybe I should have known to clip the edges together but being new to this and with no instructions I didn’t. So blamed myself for the first one. Got big binder clips annnnnnd - the molds edges are too thick and they wouldn’t stay on. Got bigger automotive pinch clips and they held it together…..except where they weren’t. Those gaps separated and poured soap everywhere. Got packing tape and wrapped the mold from top to bottom in packing tape. That held it together when the soap is poured in but because the mold is silicone the tape mushes it and makes it more of an oval than a circle BUT it held. Now for the fun part: pulling the design disc through from the bottom to create the amazing design! Nope. My soap when poured has just hit trace so they were barely thickening and still the disc broke off the rod that pulls it through ruining that batch as I had a disc embedded in my hardened soap loaf. This happened 2 more times with different discs breaking off so out of 6 attempts making 4 different color batches for each attempt (that’s 24 batches) I got zero usable soap and just a whole lot of messes. Dont mess with this mess until they become serious about creating a quality product. Such a waste.

Purchased as a gift, very hard to wrap
I was hoping this would come in an actual box, but it came just in a bag so it’s pretty hard to wrap with paper. The material looks good and there are no issues I am seeing. It’s just difficult to wrap, it would be nice if it was in a box.

LEAKS
I'm a soap maker. Purchased this mold, did leak test and it failed miserably. I always leak test before I use these type of molds. My 1st clue was it fit together too easily which indicates the seams are too loose. It also was too thin/flimsy, not thick enough to hold soap batter. When I filled it with water the seams separated and it leaked even with clips applied. For soap this would be a disaster as in CP the soap heats & expands and having to clean up lye based un-cured soap is definitely something I'm not wanting to do. This item is being returned. I do NOT recommend.

Better Options Available
This mold just doesn't hold together as tight as I would have liked. Thankfully I was able to get it to work by using plenty of clips around the perimeter. The pull-through device works fine, but I still have a lot to learn about this process before I can create anything pretty with it. It's a lot harder than it looks in videos. Mine just looks like mud.Since this would've leaked and been unusable without my clips, I am rating it three stars. I think that's pretty fair.
