It is so important to have a good product when you were trying to save food
I have had no issues with these little packets. They don’t break. They do the job. I’ve been using them now for eight months and everything has stayed dry and the way it should be.

Works well in document safes -- No more moldy papers!
If you use a document safe in any kind of humid environment, you will know that the contents will get musty and moldy. I have been using these packs to absorb moisture in document safes. I recharge them in the microwave once a month. Previously, I had used disposable silica gel pouches. But they would not last long, and I had to keep throwing them out and buying more. This is much more effective and economical.

Great for keeping the moisture out
I have the new GMC Canyon truck that has a tailgate storage box. We keep our hiking sticks and beach glass sifters stored there. Since the box isn’t completely sealed, water got in and made the handles of hiking sticks mold 😟, so I bleached the hand grips and bought these packs to put in there. Problem solved!

Good value for the money
My outside cat feeder has a slot for these in the lid, so I needed a supply. These come in a zipper-lock poly bag that is useable to keep them in. I can't really tell if they help, but the kibble stayed crunchy even when the humidity was high.

Contradictory instructions - are my desiccant packets good or bad? No seller response
On the 30-pack package I received, instructions say "Reactivate saturated silica gel by placing in an oven at 100C (210F) for up to 40 minutes or until blue color returns (with indicating beads). "All the indicator beads in my packets are orange so I put them in my oven as instructed. I checked them at 30 minutes, 40 minutes, 50 minutes, and 60 minutes. The indicator beads have not turned blue. Is something wrong with my desiccant materials?I sent a message to the seller asking about this potential issue, twice. After more than a week, still no response from them. I'm not impressed with their claimed "24/7 dedicated customer service team."Interestingly, the Amazon description for this product includes the statement "Easy Reactivation: When the orange silica gel beads turn green, the desiccant pack is ready to be reactivated. Recharges in 5-10 minutes in the microwave or oven." Read this phrase carefully. My interpretation is it says when the indicator beads are green (blue?) the packs are saturated with moisture and we need to heat them until the beads turn orange. This is the opposite of what the package instructions say. Which should I believe?
