I can only assume that this stuff works as the underlying taste for me is pretty awful compared to other protein shakes I have hadThat flavour must mean there's something good in there as the best things for us usually tastes like turd.The odd lumps of unmixed powder are pretty grimHaving said that, if it does the job of building muscle then I can get past the tasteWill leave a more in-depth review when I've had long enough to see the effects

Excellent Protein Buy!
I’ve bought Protein Works products before from their site and know the brand. The best protein I’ve ever tried but hadn’t seen this product on their site so thought I’d give it a try.It’s amazing value and lots of it - I bought 2.5kg. Chocolate flavour is delicious and the protein content is really high. Price per gram is one of the best on the market I reckon.Going to try Strawberry next. Highly recommend especially if you are on a budget.

Its like cement mix and barely has any flavour, mixes terribly too

Not great at normal
I've seen this at a very high price and normally avoided it as a result. I take protein to supplement my intake and control my appetite so there are normally much cheaper options. When it was on sale i thought it might be an opportunity to try something of a higher quality as the price would suggest. My general experience of paying more for better quality for this type of thing has normally been a waste of time and it's safe to say this one is no different. Grainy, very sweet and terrible to mix. It has the same consistency of much cheaper options that I've had (and I've had a lot) but the ingredients list still has the thickeners and emulsifiers so not sure what they are doing other than bulking out the powder.For my purposes its ok but I prefer a thicker shake. The plus side is there is more of it than most options at 1.25kg but at the normal price of £30 its just not worth that money. As with most of these companies offering massive discounts on their websites, the product is already over priced so its not a good deal and now I've actually tried it its not a brand I would pay any more money for.

Clumpy texture, everytime.
First time buyer from TPW, the strawberry'n cream flavour is delicious, however it lacks in the mixing department. This is slightly on the pricier side of protein and I would have expected a much easier mix, instead I'm stuck with clumpy shakes. I tried every method, water, milk, powder first then liquid, liquid first then powder, powder first + half the liquid + spoon mix.
