I have a 30" waist and listened to reviews on here stating the sizes were too small and advising to get a size bigger, so instead of getting a small i got a medium. It is Ok but a little too big. With the straps pulled as tight as they go i could still do with a little more support and tightness.Not to discredit the other reviewers saying the sizes are small but remember this is a back support not a pair of trousers, so it doesn't sit low on the waist in line with the hips. It sits higher up around the stomach and back. (Belly button height) so this is the circumference area you need to pay attention to when pondering what size you need. It may be that some people are carrying a bit of extra weight in the stomach area that this support wraps around and as a result this area has more diameter than their waist. The sizes given are correct. I am 30" waist with the diameter of my stomach area almost the same as my waist and the medium is a little big, small would have been ideal. There is a fair bit of adjustment given to make the support bigger if needed anyway.. but very little to make it smaller if it's too big.Other than that's it's a very good back support. I do feel it gets a bit hot underneath but that's to be expected and i'll probably get used to it. Support wise i can still slouch quite easily (mines a little too big though) but it does make it a lot easier to stand up straight with your posture when on your feet without feeling like it requires muscle effort. This does seem to help and is clearly well made with good quality.

I was sceptical but this is really good. Helps ease the pain from sciatica and makes walking so much easier. I've worn it for about 5 hours at a time with only slight irritation and I think that's cos it was a really hot day.

I work as a gardener and have been suffering with my back at times, so I needed something to support me and stop me from moving in ways that might damage my back further. The only problem was that in order to get it tight enough to support my back properly it would press to much on my stomach (which is sensitive at the best of times) and so I couldn't always wear it. It is a good product and very supportive, but probably best worn in situations when you don't have to lean over all day. I would however, still recommend it.

Excellent every day use support belt, for those of us with a bad back. Gives good support, without being too stiff. Strong velcro lock, that will stay in place and not come open by itself. (Very important and often not good enough, but this one is). Also not TOO wide, but an excellent height for me (I am 6ft2). I have bought several of these over the years and this is one of the best ones so far.

I've given this product a 5 star rating because of the quality and fit.I bought this lumbar support for use when I'm horse riding. I broke my back a few years ago for which I have had surgery to fix it, but I found that when riding, my lower ached quite a bit. The full body protectors where too heavy and uncomfortable, so I tried this, and it is brilliant. It gives good support without restriction, it is even not noticeable under clothing. It breathes so doesn't leave you too hot and for us girls/ladies, it gives you a good waist line and is vey slimming.The two side pulls are brilliant, if you need extra support you can pull tighter on both sides or equally if you want it looser, ease the straps to what is comfortable for you.A great product for a multiple of uses especially in sport.

I ordered this brace for my husband who is a regular lean size M. Actual Sizing for this product in our experience here doesn't correspond to reality as I'd describe sized M item more likened to European/British size S going on to XS. Not a chance in the world for this brace to fit on medium body frame. I shall try out size L or even up to XL as size M was really rather on the small side.I've read some of the older reviews that brought forth sizing issues but went by the most recent ones and majority seemed to say that sizing is OK. In good faith I share the fresh information and can confirm sizing isn't OK. If you're of medium build you might need to go for L or XL size. I can't really leave a review for product performance but 3 stars go for the 5 star efficient delivery and return item process courtesy of Amazon.

There was a bewildering choice so I ordered this one and am very pleased. I wasn't sure how you fitted it until I put it on but discovered how you release the side panels, fasten the belt then tighten the side panels. It gives a feeling of support and although nothing can take away sever backache, it is helping a lot. Friends have not noticed I am wearing it under a T shirt or jumper so it's strong but not obtrusive. Measure your waist to order the right size. It's extremely good value for money.

I was looking for something to help me with the back pain from which I have suffered over the years. I am a Builder so I needed support and comfort. I had a look on Amazon and from the items listed I chose this one. I thought that I'd give it a go, it was one of the cheapest listed, so I thought if it's not any good I'd try a more expensive alternative. Anyway on receipt I put it on and found it very comfortable. The following day I wore it at work, I was re-laying a patio each slab weighing 7.5 stone/45kg, and it was comfortable and I managed to work a full day with relative ease. Absolutely Brilliant, I would have given it 10 stars but there are only 5 there,
