Impressive bit of kit. I had an internet outage..enede up tying out a 4 g service as an emergency by using the very good TP LInk DECO 5 g router. I quickly realised this may be my way forward as holding the router in an upstairs window (I live in a quite poor area signal wise..as in I cants stand in certain places in my house and use a mobile) I could just get on and off a 5G signal...now on the hunt for more I read a few reviews on antennas and settled on this unit as the price was fair and it looked like it may just do the job. Instructions were very good and easy to understand...I bough a wall pole and carefully fitted it as per the sheet...I was impressed by the fittings they were good quality..didnt get the impression this was jun it looked very weather tight took me an hour to get it all nicely in place and the wires pinned.I used the OPENSIGNAL app which gives you a live compass direction to the cell tower you need ...mine was 0.9km away ..quite far for 5g and I have never received 5g on my Google pixel 8 even outside of my house. So antenna fitted and cables in place I connected her up....turned on exterior antenna switch on the Deco app (dont forget to do that on some routers) ...annnnnnd BINGO 280 mb download and 20 upload...beating my old copper ...ney smashing it out the park (31 up and 4 down) . The TP app gives you a signal strength reading and prior to the antenna fitting I was getting one sometimes two bar downstairs but a solid 2 bars upstairs on the router with its in-buit antennas hanging out the window ...this was now as a solid 3 and sometimes as signal varies with cell towers due to demand 4 bars..but either way because of this antenna I was now getting a solid 5g signal in an area I struggle to get 4g with my phone. Cant recommend enough in my situation. Very impressed and a game changer . Having had it installed for a month now its still stable and no degradation at all.

Everything arrived well packaged and undamaged.It works well and is compatible with major carriers such as Telekom, Vodafone, O2 and other virtual carriers.The package includes 1 antenna with N-type connector, 2 10m low-loss N-SMA coaxial cables, 2 SMA-TS9 adapters and a set of mounting kits.I have no complaints about the product yet but if there are any I will revisit this review.

We have to use a 4g router as the landline speeds here are so poor. The 4g router works ok but our upload speed is around 1 mbps and download around 30 mbps.Installation of the aerial was straight forward with detailed instructions enclosed. As this is a directional aerial you have to find the exact compass bearing of the tower you connect to. I used an app called Find Tower and set the direction of the aerial with a compass.The results are download speed around 18 mbps upload around 75mbps.Need I say anymore? A great product and well worth the money.

No performance difference between this and stock external antenna on my Huawei CPE pro. The cables supplied are too stiff and heavy for use with the router. Additionally, the provided adapters are bulky and do not lock properly, which resulted in one of the connectors on the router breaking. Not recommended.

Works well compared to others

This gets good signal in my home office and was pretty easy to install apart from the wires which are very stiff, I don't know if that's a thing with all of these types of antenna as it's my first time using or installing one, overall I'm very happy with it though and recommend it to others.
