Whereas other LED lightbulbs or fixtures may charge a built-in battery that can be turned on when there is no power, they don't work like a true emergency backup light, where they automatically flip on when the power to the building is lost. But be warned you need to have both a switched power line and a dedicated power line at your light's junction box in order for this light to fully work light a backup light.Beyond the specialized wiring needs, installation is super easy, as far as lighting fixtures go.The light itself is low profile and pretty bright. Especially nice is the selection of various color temperatures. The backup light lasts for at least 90 minutes (I turned the power back on after 90 minutes).

It does work pretty well had it plugged into power for a bit and it held a charge after disconnected. Important thing to know is it does need to be connected to direct continuous source on those lines indicated or it wont function at all. So having it in the hall is a work in progress as we don’t want that so hope we can jerry rig this up somehow. Does transition to different light types glad for the variety we chose the cool white. Be fine for future application is a pain to click it in to place with the cords. A bit high in cost but comparing its within range of lower end , it’s worth it for the next time a tree takes down power.

I like the adjustable brightness capability. There is a small slider switch on the back part of the light that allows the brightness to be adjusted. This unit can be wired to be switched or not. Selecting the proper connections is important based on how you want this controlled. Even though the description says the light is dimmable, I have not connected this to a dimmer switch. The base of the unit detaches from the light making the electrical connections and the mounting very easy. Once connected and mounted, the light just snaps into the base. The red test button can also be used to turn the light on and off which allows manual control of the light.

I like this ceiling lamp set.• The pack comes with four lamps, which is convenient. They look both beautiful and modern.• They’re made of metal and plastic, and the quality feels fairly good, although I did notice some scratches near the cable area.• The installation is really easy and takes about 15 minutes. I don’t have a dimmer switch, but it is not needed for them to work. What I like is that changing light colors is really easy using the lamp's own switch located at the back of each lamp.• The light looks good as I expected. It lights up well, and there’s no flickering or something similar.Overall, these lamps looks good, and everything seems to work as expected. I believe they’re a good investment.

This light is very straightforward and easy to install. It is very bright, lighting the space far better then the old light ever did. The hookup of the battery to constant power, in addition to hooking a switch circuit to the light is a must if you want to use the battery backup, but once hooked up it works great. Upon testing the battery gave me just over two hours of light after power was removed.

These arrived in a cardboard box with each light fixture inside covered by a plastic bag & the tops & bottoms held by a cardboard suspension top & bottom.There was also a brief instruction sheet inside, but they are simple, install a small mounting bracket to your electrical box, wire in the black, white & green wires, push the light into the bracket holder until it is flush & snaps in (the bracket is labeled on the install side so you know which side is down).The installation package includes 3 wire nut connectors that are appropriately sized.However the mounting screws could be too short for some boxes not installed as flush as others. In those cases you may need to keep your old install screws from the fixture you remove or obtain longer reaching screws before you can complete this install.We’ve had these installed now several weeks, and they continue to perform great.No flicker, no hums, consistent color temps between fixtures.They look great to replace older style fixtures.These look like they are “can fixtures” which I think is great - can fixtures are 4 times the install work of these & then your light is stuck under the ceiling — these are much superior.

4 lights come in the set and the quality of the build is good. Installation is straight forward but be warned if you have older shallow electrical boxes this will not work because the transformer for the lights goes up into the box. I really liked that there are 5 different color selections to choose from… 2700, 3000, 3500, 4000, and 5000K. They are also ultra thin which looks great on the ceiling.

Don’t let the small size fool you, these little lights offer a great amount of light. I like that I can pick my lighting preferences. They are easy to install and assemble. I placed them in my laundry room and they really lit up the place. The price is phenomenal for such modern, bright lights. I’m definitely pleased.
