Well designed, stable, virtually maintenance free
I have nothing to compare this to, but I really like it. Very stable, yet not so wide you can't maneuver your house. I got the never-flat tires and it does pretty well in lawns and in like a gravel road - I wouldn't take it on the sand though. The big deal, and I mean the huge deal is stairs. The brakes do not lock up all wheels, and for dealing with a couple stairs, all wheel brakes would be more ideal as the front wheels do not lock up, perhaps for good reason? The tires do not mark my floors. The knee pad is soft yet firm, but it does wear on you after a bit. I have not used more than a couple hours as my surgery is coming up, so perhaps you get used to the knee discomfort after a while?

Great customer service and product
Bought this scooter for easy mobility after foot surgery and it was so much easier for me to use than crutches. I bought a basket to carry my phone and water and didn’t need an extra cushion on the seat as it was relatively comfortable. After a few weeks the hand brake mechanism broke, but after completing the online warranty form the company sent out a replacement. Very happy with their customer service and the product overall.

True Lifesaver!
I bought this for myself when I had foot reconstruction surgery. I used it for three months and it was the perfect way for me to get around. I first tried using crutches and I fell, so that was a no go. This little baby gripped the ground outside, was easy to maneuver on carpet, and it was great on hard floor. No sliding.I also just loaned it to my neighbor who broke her foot and ankle and she said it was a lifesaver. I agree. I highly recommend this.

Waiting for help to get working tire
Bought and one tire has broken inner tube so can’t use- Amazon says call manufacturer- manufacturer says away at sales meeting until July 12th, someone will get back to me then…. So at the moment out over the cost of 249.99 and no usable scooter…. Waiting for their reply and will update review then. Frustrating to not have use of product, money back to replace and having to wait for help from company.Update/ I received an email from company to fill out warranty request form and link to buy parts- so now out more money, to buy a new inner tube for tire on new rover and more time, waiting for shipping, 5-7 days as I didn’t want to pay the $50 charge for express shipping- and then have to get someone to fix what they sent broken…Update- I received apology e-mail and a credit on the cost of the tire- and they are express shipping it out/ So I am grateful that the customer service is making good on their scooter. I do think if I had to do this purchase over at this point, I would buy a scooter with solid tires that aren’t air filled and vulnerable as I had seen in other reviews. I did see others who had problem with scooter delivered with bad tires, but I thought that wouldn’t happen to me. That said, the company is doing right and things do get sent broken sometimes and there isn’t anything to be done & they are doing what they can to correct situation.Looking forward to getting to use the scooter!!!

Great Knee Scooter
This scooter is a prefect blend for indoors and out doors. I have tried other scooters and they do not compare to the KneeRover’s quality. They are based in the USA. The old saying goes you get what you pay for. So much easier to use than a walker or crutches.

Lifesaver!
This has been a lifesaver for me. I was non weight bearing for a few weeks following surgery and am still only partial weight bearing 6 weeks out. I'm probably going to be hobbling around with an open wound on my foot for at least a few more weeks. I have calcifications in both shoulders so crutches are really painful for me to use. A rental scooter through my insurance company was going to cost almost as much as a purchase so I decided to purchase a scooter. I chose upgrade to an all terrain model for comfort and stability. I called Knee Rover for advice on the best model scooter for me and they recommended the Quad Jr since I'm 5'2".I LOVE this scooter. It's extremely stable, the wheels have a comfortable ride since they're air filled and it's fairly compact. I teach at a college and can easily zoom around campus with no issues. I've taken this scooter shopping, for dinner, to hospitals and doctors appointments, etc. Once you get used to the wide turning radius, it's easy to get around. The brake works really well, though I wish it had a brake handle on each side, not just the right. It's easiest for me to place it in the back of our minivan but it does fold to fit in either a trunk or on the back seat of a compact car. I'll be honest, I'm not the most gentle on my scooter but it's held up perfectly and I've never lost my balance on it.The knee pad is a bit hard so I purchased the memory foam pad that was recommended. My knee was sore to start but now that I've been using it for two months, I'm used to the knee pressure and the pad helps so much. The only thing that disappointed me was that it did not come with a basket. I bought the one that's made by Knee Rover as it is removable and had a handle and it's worked perfectly. I made the mistake of popping out with crutches the other day cause I didn't want to be packing and unpacking a scooter in the rain. I regretted every second of that trip without my scooter. I can't recommend this enough!
