I feel like I’ve tried every natural deodorant on the market, and this one is definitely the best I’ve used. The smell is lovely, not overpowering and it’s made with excellent ingredients. I am allergic to baking soda in deodorant and this one does not use that ingredient. Natural deodorants do not prevent you from sweating but hopefully keep you smelling fresh. This is the best I’ve tried in that department. Since using this one I’ve noticed that although I still have some sweat the odor is not noticeable. A great product and one that I will continue to use!

I have been deodorant free for too many years; I just knew aluminum in deodorant was bad. Being retired, though, I had the luxury of not having to really worry about my "essence",but when I get nervous, or after my morning caffeine, I know my sweat glands kick in.I have tried this for a few days before giving a review. In normal conditions - basic activity I notice I did not sweat. If I am doing strenuous work - gardening or landscape and my back sweats, then yes my pits will sweat.I did notice one day that I was in a rush to get out the door to an appointment, and boy was I sweaty. But I think that was nerves, and think if I did have it on, I still would have been wet.I do apply with a metal cosmetic applicator, it sort of has a flat and small scoop area, that I can then press and apply under my arm. So, I never had to get the product under my fingernails or on my hands.I will continue to use the product.I can't give it 5 stars, but I probably wouldn't be able to give an aluminum product a 5-star just because sometimes you do just sweat.

The jar that this deodorant comes in does not have a safety seal. The jar was partially opened when I received it. The cream is not very thick and the scent is not very pleasant. Based on the quality and price I would skip this one.

The rose geranium scent is nice. I love the idea of an organic aluminum-free deodorant, however this one didn't work for me. I applied the cream as directed, but as the day went on, it didn't absorb moisture or prevent odor as it said it would. (I have a sweaty, active job.) I may save it and try again during the colder months.

I wanted to love this so bad, but it just didn’t hit for me. I do not care for the scent, it’s not super strong, but it’s just not pleasant. Geraniums aren’t known for being the best scented flower, lol. It comes in a little glass jar, no applicator included, so it’s a little messy to apply. I used a reusable makeup puff because I didn’t want the scent on my hands. Doesn’t really work in your favor if you don’t like the smell since it’s natural and is not an anti-perspirant.

This deodorant from ECO ROOTS is supposed to smell like rose geranium but it smells like shea butter to me. There's no other scent to it for me but maybe I got an off batch.It's a formula that melts on my fingertips when scooping out and you only need a little to apply to the underarm area. I'm very happy that there are only a few ingredients in this deodorant and it kept my armpits from smelling bad throughout the day. It isn't an antiperspirant however so I still ended up sweating. I like this but I think it's somewhat expensive for not being an antiperspirant.I think for people who can't use deodorant with baking soda or aluminum, this is a nice option from a local US company. :)
