Excellent value for the money
Well they claimed it was a heavy duty tension rod and it certainly is. I weigh over 100kg and I struggle to move the pole once it is positioned, without first slackening the tension.Easy to use and great quality.

Nice and sturdy
Absolutely terrific!I’ve used it to hold quite a heavy curtain as a draft excluder. It’s quite tough and easy to erect, it took only seconds.I highly recommend this product.

strong spring but may not be suitable for all walls
Bought to hang winter insulating curtain in thick wall window return. End grips are semi soft plastic with textured bumps but really only suitable for openings with near parallel walls as flexibility is limited. OK for moderate loads but uses may be limited by available friction at end wall contacts as will slip if too much load applied. Good on bare stone, not so hot on painted plasterboard/sheetrock which needs a more aggressive pointy texture on end caps.On plus side endcaps (ferrules?) can be removed with some effort and adaptions made (or holes drilled in walls etc.)May buy again if a very specific removable rail solution is needed but at 15 uk pounds is a bit pricey.Quality of (white) finish seems good and tube is thick enough for most hanging purposes - but not chin ups!

Does the job - easy and sturdy to fit, with no tools or holes to make!
I purchased to use as a guard rail, to prevent reasonably lightweight items from slipping off an over-cab shelf in a Motorhome. It was ideal. Great that it tightens well and none-slip ends, without need for fixing permanently. Easy to remove and refit, as required.

Sturdy door curtain pole
I used the tension rod to hang a door curtain. Even though I had to work in narrow space this pole was easy to fit and carry final adjustments to height. The door curtain has been hung on the pole and has stayed firmly in place. Very quick and easy to fit.

Stays up!
We needed a shower rod that was small but mighty. This rod holds a curtain well, and does not slip or fall down. I’m impressed with the functionality for the money. No rust, and I would purchase again.
