Good quality for the price
Husband needed some waders to take our son on a juvenile duck draw hunt. Our son has Drakes, but I wasn't buying my husband some for a one time thing. We found these and were skeptical, and half expected not to fit. He was pleasantly surprised when they arrived and they fit when trying on. They have some of the same accessory features as the Drakes, and the quality seems very good as well.

Decent mid range waders
I have tried about 8 waders. The cheap $40 or lower waders are pretty nice for basic waders but usually pop a leak within a few dozen trips. Those are usually some poly canvas mix, thin and not insulating. The Trudave waders are made of thick neoprene, double layered. The outside is where most of the sewing is while the inside is basically seamless except a few spots along the inseam and back. It's quite insulating and waterproof. It will give off a noxious scent the first time you use it though, but wears off after a while. The wader is overall soft and a bit stretchy. Check the inseam length to see if it will fit you though, as I got a size 9 based on feet size but it is a bit baggy for my 5'6" frame, though still acceptable. It has a decent amount of features built into it. The knee pads are strengthened and have grippy stripes for better kneeling grip. There's a chest hand pocket that doubles as the belt loop, with a hole in the bottom to drain water. Behind it is a neoprene pouch with a velcro lock and behind that in the interior is a thin flip out polyester pocket. The belt loop has two straps threaded on with multiple close ended holes/pockets that can fit a single shotgun shell each. The built in boots are just like the cheaper waders, with a thick rubbery material. However, it is better designed, with a reinforced heel. That is where my cheaper waders normally pop a hole as the heel creases and rips over time. The neoprene is sealed pretty well where it connects to the boot upper. The inner sole is also cushioned with an insole so it's more comfortable when walking on rocky grounds. The bottom sole has some ridged grooves for grip, but is also not particularly grippy. It's overall pretty good for a sub $100 wader, with decent construction. It will still take a few months of testing before I can comment on the waterproof reliability, though it is a lot more puncture proof than the canvas type waders.

You really can't go wrong at this price point
If you are interested in getting started with cold weather water activities, whether it's flyfishing a river, duck hunting in a marsh, etc... one of the critical elements is getting equipment that allows you to stay comfortable, warm and dry, so that you can enjoy the sport. That type of gear can cost a LOT of money. These waders may not be the same quality and caliber as a $1,000 set of brand name waders, but for the money they do well more than you would expect and are a great entry level wader that will let you get out there and enjoy what you are doing. I have to believe that they will not last as long as some of the more expensive options, but on initial use they are absolutely worth the money. They kept me dry. They kept me warm. No rips, tears, splits etc... and they were comfortable to be in from 4am til evening. Great starter pair

Great waders for a very good price
The problem with waders is that the best ones ones cost an awful lot and the affordable ones are poorly made. So, you’re either forced to spend a ton of money for the high quality ones which still end up leaking eventually or you buy the inexpensive ones which can be so bad that you might as well have no waders at all. These waders were a pleasant surprise. The low price is what caught my eye but the description and photos had me hoping that they were actually better than their price would indicate. We’ll surprise, surprise, wishes really do come true. These waders are great. They are high quality and still fairly inexpensive. The materials are on par with waders from major manufacturers that would sell for several times what these sell for.The fit in the boots is true to size and the body fits pretty well too. They are made from neoprene so don’t expect them to be breathable. They come with sturdy nylon suspenders and they even throw in a little waterproof pouch for your cell phone or wallet. It’s a very nice little extra.I’m not going to tell you that these waders will last you for a lifetime.I don’t think any waders will. But you’ll certainly be happy with these and I’m going to bet they’ll last far longer and give you better service than their reasonable price would indicate.Highly recommended !Cheers.

True to size
This is a nice set for anyone that enjoys fishing or doing outdoor activities. This fits over your clothes easily and appears to be well made. It is true to size. I have room on the pants area but I like that there’s space and it isn’t extremely tight. This is a product that I am happy I found and would recommend to anyone that loves fishing or doing outdoor activities.

Comfortable and Warm
This set of waders is comfortable and warm. These are an excellent value for the price. They are insulated and seem to be made from quality materials. They are waterproof and the stitching is comparable to your top brands. I do a lot of fishing in the spring and fall here in Michigan and these will hold up well to the elements I may encounter. These are a little large on me in terms of height and width, but I'd rather them leave some space for extra gear. The boots fit perfect though, so that's a definite plus there. Overall, I'm quite impressed with these and I'd compare the comfort to some of the top brands out there. For the price, I'd be happy just getting a couple years out of them! These are an excellent addition to my outdoor gear.
