Once I got used to using it and started on my Amazon boxes this was a big help. I could fit them into my recycling bin and they all fit.The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the on switch is a little hard to use but I do have arthritis and I wish it was a little more powerful.I have to say yes I would recommend this item and it is definitely worth the money.

I purchased this product for cutting up my delivery boxes so they take up less room in the recycle bin. I am very impressed with how easy and quick it is to cut up cardboard. The battery life is great even cutting 20 Amazon boxes into small pieces. High recommend this product.

Initially bought it to remove two rooms of carpeting from my house. It worked beautifully for that purpose. Now I use it for cutting up cardboard boxes. Charge seems to last forever. So glad I bought this!
