I purchased this for my basement door to be able to keep my feet clean before entering into my basement and it does a great job of cleaning everything off of your shoes.

Great for brushing debris off your shoes
Works great but you need to by a board/base to mount this to and stand on it with the other foot, otherwise it goes flying off when you try to clean your shoes or boots with it.

This is a great item. Yes, it does need to be mounted to something in order to be usable and effective. I chose to utilize some scrap wood I had laying around. Made a base 20" x 10" and it works perfectly. Step on either side to scrub mud off the other shoe. Plus it's portable. You can take it over to rinse it off at the garden hose when dirty.

Good build quality, sub par fasteners.
The media could not be loaded. Bought as a Christmas gift for my wife, because a vacuum would have landed me on the sofa. The boot brush is well built just need to include tapcons and a pilot hole bit for direct mounting to concrete surface.
