Ironmongery World 12" / 300mm Solid Brass Non Rattle Cabin Hook Door Gate Hook & Eye Silent Type

I bought this hook for my garden cabin and attached it with the screws sent (these were brass coloured) through I found wood screws a bit better than these. I bought 2 and they are both working well, the only downside is that the hole on the latch is a tad small and can be a bit tough to get in if you are in a rush. Apart from that really attractive sturdy things, have had no problems.

I wanted this to hold the door of my shed ajar to allow ventilation but not slamming in the wind. It is to help wood to dry. It feels good quality and was just the right length for me. Seems good quality and did not disappoint

Hey great gate/shed door hook, properly engineered brass hook, great quality and price, once fitted and used I noticed as it stated that there is no rattling of the shed door even when very windy, I recommend this product and the supplier, buy with confidence.

Smart 300mm long brass hook, robust enough to hold my patio door and snug fit so doesn't rattle. Used slightly larger no.6 brass screws though.

I'm very pleased with this product, it's not easy to get the combination of 12" length plus solid brass. The hook and latch really are solid and excellent quality. The screws, and only the screws, are plated - but I would have been surprised if they'd been anything else. I used my own brass screws.

Bought to hold summerhouse doors open.Very robust. Real brass - no sign of corrosion after a year in the elements.The are hand finished. The hook on one required filing to ease its fit in the eye.But its brass so that was easy enough.
