Q: How long are the sleeves for a medium size?

I buy the medium long sleeve shirts. Oddly, while they seem to be fairly long, the sleeves are NOT. I am a normally proportioned 6' tall, 180# man, and the shirts hang down past my waist, almost to my crotch, but the sleeves are always 2" above my wrists. I've bought probably 15 of these long sleeve Dickies in various colors over the last few years, and they all fit the same. The wrist is not very elastic either.

Q: Is the size labeled "Long" meant to say Large?

Yes, the 2T, 3T, 4T and same as 2XT, 3XT, 4XT - mine fit ok - maybe just a tad smaller than I expected, but still fit well

Q: how do these fit compared to carhartt long sleeves?

I find the Dickies runs a size smaller than Carhartt. I wear a medium in Dickies & a small in Carhardtt. I weigh 165 lbs, 5'11", 33" waist and wear 33" sleeve in dress shirts.
