The home gym we have been waiting for !!!!
I am pleasantly surprised how good this product is, at first I was unsure but thought I would take a punt and I am glad I did. Putting it together it took me about an hour using the tools which came with the unit. The instructions are pretty straight forward but on a couple of the numbers on the manual didn’t match up, but you are provided with the right amount of nuts and bolts. The delivery was good, it arrived on time and nicely packaged, I could lift the box on my own however it’s quite heavy and and another pair of hands would have been great (getting it into the room I wanted to build it in).Using the product again I am surprised how sturdy it is, I haven’t experienced wobbly or haven’t had to use weighs to hold it down.I bought this product for the assisted dip, I have been looking for a while and glad that this product is available, the price is good for what you get, a genuine or second hand assisted dip machine costs thousands, so far this machine works as well as a gym one.I am starting the journey which will enable to me use the machine un assisted, but at the moment I am far from reaching this goal, I am using the four resistance bands and it holds my weight (90kg) and I am still able to feel the muscles pull and strengthen even with the 4 bands. The height is adjustable and this unit is more than a dip, chin and pull machine, it’s good for press ups as well as other exercises.Overall I am pleased I took a gamble and if someone is of similar thinking to me, I would say go for it.

Real solid piece of kit.
Real solid piece of kit. Used this for a year now and once fit together tightly, it is a real sturdy piece of equipment. Versatile for at home gym/workouts which is all I do. I use it almost every day. One of the few gym-related purchases I've made on Amazon that I am happy with.

Value for money
For the price it's a decent piece of kit. It took around two hours to build, not the 20 minutes it said in the video. There are six different exercises you can do with the equipment. They are:Pull upsChin upsDipsPress upsInverted rowsLeg raises. The equipment fits in very well in my home gym and seems value for money.

Great if you are under 6ft 3
Really good and sturdy. Very happy with it, however only issue isMy son is 6ft 4 and is too tall to use it even on the highest setting, his feet still touch the floor. So it’s not really designed for anyone 6ft 3 plus which is disappointing as he was also hoping to use it.

A Set-up Review
The media could not be loaded. Looks like a good piece of kit, and assisted exercises like this are a great place to start building capability.Full list of parts for assembly was received with complimentary allen/hex wrenches and open-end wrenches to accomplish the job.Installation Video on Amazon is very helpful and follows a different sequence to the printed instructions. Printed illustrations of the more complex steps 5 & 6 could be improved with a magnified focus on the current areas of work, rather than having an illustration of the full unit.Don't be surprised if bolt/screw holes are not quite aligned and you have to man-handle components to make them connect (see photos 1 - 4). A rubber mallet might be useful and don't fully tighten the top bolts too early that connect the pulley wheel frame to the composite tubes (stainless steel looking rods).Because of the upward force of the elastic band on the pulley wheel frame, it pushes the top pulley at the back, and the bottom one at the front in towards the composite tube (see marked as 2 & 4 in photo P, right hand side of equipment). Accordingly, those are the two pulleys that primarily run on the composite tubes while the others are largely idle. That potentially means they will bear the lion share of the wear and tear. This is also shown in a video of the left hand side of the equipment, where the pulley at the top front nearest the viewer is not moving at all, while its counterpart at the back does the work.Hopefully users graduate to unassisted exercises before this becomes a problem. If it does I guess you could disassemble and switch the pulleys back to front for as long as that will last :-)
