Brain Games - Sudoku #2

Love the puzzles and the multiple levels. I do a level 1, then 2, then 3, 4, 5 and start back to the next level 1. I found that most often, the level 4 is more difficult than level 5. Level 4 is also where I most often find the poorly designed puzzles - meaning multiple solutions. I completed the first book but didn't find this to be true as often as this one. Fewer multiple solutions as well.

Harder than the newspapers sudokus

It is the perfect process!! Many starter puzzles followed by increasingly challenging ones. I love it!! I do a daily sudoku online and select mostly "expert" but still enjoy this puzzle book immensely.

The spiral makes this so easy to use! Lays flat. Love the large puzzles (only 2 per page) and there are so many for each level. It's a bit heavy, so I tear out the pages I've already done, and the easy ones I skip, so by the time I get to the tough ones, it's lighter and easier to use.

Good book of puzzles for the most part: I like the layout and the spiral binding. What I *don’t* like is that the jump in difficulty from Level 3 to Level 4 is huge! I can do all the Level 3s pretty easily, but most of the 4s are really tough for me. And some seem to have multiple answers, which is confusing. So, I feel that even though I want to be challenged, there’s no way I’ll be doing most of the 4 and 5 difficulty puzzles, which makes a good chunk of this book useless to me.

This is my second brain games Sudoku book as I had already whipped through #1. The pages are perfect and the puzzles are easy to read, so I don't need to use my +1.50 readers (A+). The books skill sets are properly managed from beginner to expert. Hope they make #3.

Beware of puzzle 202! The answer page shows that the center cell is given as 7. It isn't given and this puzzle is more like an impossible one. I don't think the average puzzler could solve it. Needs an edit.

This was a gift and they love it! It had a nice sturdy spine for taking it everywhere

There are 2 puzzles on each page. Easy to see with bold numbers. A little over priced though. I love sudoku so will keep me busy as I bought 3. There are different levels and all are straightforward cubes, not funky shapes.

The puzzles are really good and separated by level. This allows you to pick the level depending on how much time you have. I don’t like my hand resting on the spiral when working on the bottom puzzle, but overall a very good book.

Very well designed. Good puzzles. Spiral binding make it easy for work on the puzzles.
