Great Ashwaganda
Been buying these for a long time. Love the he quality. I definitely notice a feeling of relaxation with taking this Ashwaganda. it’s great because it includes black pepper for better absorption. Has no taste. Good price.I’ve had zero side effects and some pretty noticeable benefits.I do feel a subtle shift—less racing thoughts, better focus, and I wasn’t as irritable in high-stress situations (I volunteer at my son’s school, so that’s saying something). By week three, it became clear this wasn’t placebo. I was more patient, more clear-headed, and even my sleep improved.I was not paid for this review, nor did I receive any free product. This is just my honest experience. I’ve tried other supplements before with little success, but this one will likely stay in my routine. I plan to cycle off after 4-6 weeks, as others have suggested, just to give my body a break.Tip: Always check with your doctor, especially if you’re taking meds or have underlying conditions. That said, if you’re considering trying this, I’d say it’s worth a shot. Good for people with Hashimoto's or peri-menopause.Hope this honest review helps.

Works for some things
I’ve tested this product now for about 45 days. Out of concern that the recommended dosage might be too much to take in one day, I ONLY TOOK ONE PILL IN THE MORNING. Here’s my results and opinion. I am not paid for this review nor given any bottles. This is a straight up...”I’ll give it a try” based review. I’m a male in my late 40s. Lower anxiety, better sleep and offset to declining testosterone were my main desired outcomes.1). Yes, it does improve anxiety and sleep. Found myself sleeping through even on nights where the next day at work was going to be high stress. Noted change.2). May be associated with diet change but seeing cortisol levels decrease with this, I was curious if it would reduce midsection. I joined Weight Watchers around the same time and have lost 18 pounds in 6 weeks. So...chicken and the egg here??3). Definitely without question increases libido and “performance”. Won’t be needing any other help in that dept if you know what I mean.4). Did not increase testosterone for me. Blood test from 2 years ago was 407. Blood test last week was 397.5). No noticeable impact on blood pressure. Took BP randomly over the last 6 weeks. Same as always.6). No jitters, side effects or concerns.7). Big pills. When i first took them they almost got stuck in throat. Way to do it is, put them in mouth and get be capsules really wet with the water first as you take a mouthful. Then swallow.8) good value for good sleep and lower anxiety. Not a placebo. There’s stuff I have to deal with that no placebo could overcome.Going to increase dosage now from 1 pill to 2. Will update later

Quality but rising price
This is the brand I started and stuck with after testing a few out and noticing this brand had a larger capsule/ more ashwagandha per dose. Ashwagandha works great when you find a quality source. Unfortunately, the price has recently raised from 20$ to 30$, and this price increase is also reflected on in their website (not just Amazon inflation). These work, well, but to raise the price by 50% is a bit too much to stomach. There are many other quality brands selling competitive products at the 20$ price point. And drastic pricing fluctuations like this is why it's unwise to set up scheduled auto-deliveries.

Husband now better able to handle stressors of daily life
About April 18, 2018 while reading comments about supplements I was considering I read something about Ashwagandha. Curious, I read more, and soon realized it sounded like something that might be good for my husband & maybe even me. When I read the label to him (Premium Stress Response. Enhances Energy & Mood. Healthy Cortisol Levels) he told me to order it.I think he started taking the NutriRise Ashwaghandha shortly after receiving it from Amazon. I think we both noticed some improvement in his mood. But, things moved up several notches after he increased the Ashwagandha dosage & added some more adaptogens (see below), some of which I first learned about while out shopping one day at HomeGoods. One day while out shopping for hours & feeling hungry I decided to look in the food section of HomeGoods for a somewhat healthy snack. That’s when I saw several eye-catching bags, some with the word “Superfood,” which caught my attention. Naturally, I started reading labels.I was so excited about the possible benefits (such as enhances energy, mood & memory; rich in antioxidant) of these “Superfoods” that I forgot about my hunger. But, I wanted to learn more than possible marketing information before purchasing anything. Thank God for smartphones & Google. I was excited to read about possible benefits for some of the Superfoods I was considering, and/or that I had recently purchased, such as:ASHWAGANDHA, an adaptogen:1) Improves thyroid function2) Relieves adrenal fatigue.3) Combats stress and anxiety.4) May reduce depression.MACA POWDER, an adaptogen:1) Rich in antioxidants.2) Enhances energy, mood and memory.MORINGA LEAF POWDER, an adaptogen:1) Provides anti-oxidants2) Stabilize mood.3) Balances hormones.4) Increase immune function.RHODIOLA, an adaptogen:1) Help depression.2) Improve brain function.3) Help with stress.According to Dr. Josh Axe, an “adaptogen,” is a name given to certain herbs, plants and natural substances that help the body naturally adapt to stressors like a busy schedule, demanding job or illness.Since my system is very sensitive, I have to be much more careful than my husband about what I take & do. I called & read to him what I learned. Like me, he was stoked about the possibilities. My husband immediately added the Maca Powder to his supplements (including NutriRise Ashwagandha, which he started taking first, about April 22, 2018). I think it was a couple days after he started taking Maca Powder that he added OMG Moringa Leaf Powder. He added Rhodiola (NutraChamps) about mid May 2018 (after I read many positive reviews about how it helped consumers handle stress & to sleep better).MY HUSBAND’S RESULTS THUS FAR TAKING ALL OF THE ABOVE ADAPTOGENS:Since my husband started using NutriRise Ashwagandha capsules about April 2018, Maca Powder (May 6, 2018) (Peruvian Naturals brand about mid May 2018), OMG Moringa Leaf Powder about mid May 2018 (purchased at HomeGoods) & NutraChamps Rhodiola about mid May 2018 both of us have noticed a definite improvement in his ability to handle the stressors in our lives. Several times he has even commented to me that he recognizes how much better he is able to handle certain things that once stressed him out. To me, it’s as if he can see & think more clearly now.To those who might be wondering how any of the adaptogens are working for me: It’s a work in progress. After taking Ashwagandha, Maca Powder & Moringa Leaf Powder (not necessarily all at once) I experienced odd heart rhythms, and skin itching. Since I wasn't sure what created such un-welcomed effects I decided to stop those and anything else that I thought could be the cause. I am doing some other things, which I hope will be just as effective for me. However, I have not ruled out the adaptogens & might revisit one or more of them in the future.
