Lorell SOHO 22" 2-Drawer File Cabinet LLR16871,Metallic Charcoal

I LOVE THESE FILING CABINETS!! This is a great, purely functional filing cabinet for its price. It is light-weight and reasonably well made. I'm 5' 3" and not particularly strong. I was able to get them out of the box on my own, pick each up!, and move them where I wanted them with ease. Very sleek, appealing appearance. Handles are easy to install. I got two; both arrived on the same day in perfect condition and quickly. I have them sitting side-by-side with my printer (and a plant) sitting on top of them. I love that I can roll my chair to it and easily work in the top drawers (I keep extra folders, printer paper, ink, etc. in the bottom drawers for this reason). The keys and lock work. It locks BOTH drawers. Handles and keys arrived in the bottom drawer. The putty color is light and appears as pictured. (I had looked at some white ones here on Amazon, but none had the good reviews this one did.) They match well with my light oak wood office furniture and white leather love seat and blends in WITHOUT screaming, "Hey, there's a big, bulky filing cabinet sitting here."Some POSSIBLE "cons" for those that may mind (I don't). They are NOT made for abuse; rather a practical, neat cabinet to file needed documents. Again, it is light weight and will tip while working in the opened top drawer if the bottom drawer is not well weighted and / or something sufficiently heavy isn't sitting on top. It does not have the safety feature of if one drawer is opened, the other drawer won't - both drawers can be opened at the same time. It is snug on either side of the hanging files, but more than enough room to move them or take the folders in and out. If stuffed to capacity with files, you cannot get to the back several without removing some in the front. NONE of these "cons" bother me, but because I rely on reviews to make purchasing decisions, I make efforts to be thorough in mine.

Exactly what I expected based on the product description. Packaged well with Styrofoam and delivery was timely. Comes fully assembled except you have to put the handles on. It comes with screws; you just need your own phillips screwdriver. There was no documentation that came with the file cabinet but I found set up to be easy and intuitive.Please note that this a fairly medium to lightweight file cabinet from what you might be used to in an office setting, but I found that it feels solid and the drawers slide in and out smoothly. Just double check that the dimensions are right for you before ordering - that was the deciding factor for me in choosing this particular file cabinet.One other thing: I don't know why the title lists it as mobile - there are no wheels, and I'm not sure if you can add your own wheels after the fact. Either way I wasn't expecting it to have wheels or be mobile, despite the title, so this didn't throw me off. It looks like what you see in the picture.Finally, I didn't notice any dents or scuffs on my particular file cabinet. If they're there then they aren't glaring. Great buy.

The file cabinet is fine - nice deep drawers, drawers slide easily, the only assembly was screwing on the drawer handles (with the world's shortest screws, BTW...). BUT, it came with a nice dent, fortunately on the back of the top of the cabinet, but the box was not dented and it was packed carefully with styrofoam on all eight corners, so?? Not happy with the dent, but the rest of the cabinet is fine and good for the money.

I am so glad I purchased this file cabinet. It is not a "Steelcase" or similar, but then again, it does not have the weight (harder for me to handle) or cost ($$$) of a Steelcase. For $75 this is perfect for my home filing needs. It arrived so fast and in perfect condition. No dents, no scratches, just in perfect condition. The handles were easy to attach, just a little tedious since the screws are small. A magnetic screwdriver helps a lot. I'm very happy with this purchase and will buy the same one again if the need arises.

Was afraid 2 order this because of poor reviews. It works perfectly, was not dented, & the handles were easy 2 install. It is not as sturdy as you would want in an office setting, but for home use it is more than adequate & the price is right!

This cabinet was very lightweight and easy to pickup and move. Tried taking the drawers out one-by-one like it is possible to do with other filing cabinets, but seems like there is no capability to do that. Very, very flimsy. The metal is very thin inside. One drawer came apart from the top side that hold the front where the lock is in the top corner. Drilled a hole to insert a piece of wire so I can hold it together. The locking mechanism is almost like metal covered in plastic and there was no key provided in the packaging. If you won't be planning to use it every day or constantly, and mostly use it for storage, it probably will last longer.

I don't know, maybe I got lucky but I'm really happy with this file cabinet. The best part is that it arrived in perfect shape. I was concerned about this after reading some of the reviews. The sheet metal is maybe a little thinner than I'd like but for my needs this file cabinet works really well. I just needed to get something to help keep me better organized with medical bills, receipts, etc. The size is perfect where I have it next to my desk and I even threw a houseplant on top with a cork saucer underneath. For $50.00 I cannot complain. I also ordered some file folders and copy paper and Amazon made it all happen in one delivery. Hats off to Amazon!

I like the depth of the drawers. It fits perfectly under my desk so it’s easy to reach my files. It’s what I needed and it meets my expectations. This is in my craft room .

The quality, the very suitable size for household use, and the reasonable price are all very satisfactory.

À l'arrivée de l'artiicle : libre dans sa boîte, endommagé et derrière du classeur enfoncé. De plus, beaucoup plus beige que sur l'image. Pas le choix de le garder, j'en ai vraiment besoin alors pas le temps d'attendre un autre délai beaucoup trop long.
