Was really surprised at the quality of footage considering the price.
This in my opinion is a quality product for a reasonable price. It is easy to set up and the quality of the footage captured is outstanding not matter what the weather throws at it. I would definitely get two packs of rechargeable batteries so yo have always got batteries fully charged. Also make sure you check the sd card is genuine as there are copies which are rubbish. Would highly recommend this camera.

The best wildlife camera we've ever had!
The media could not be loaded. This camera is the best one we've ever used. We put it out for a week recently and it survived 2 storms without any water ingress at all, functioning perfectly throughout. We got some fantastic footage of local wildlife - unfortunately we can only upload one video per review. It is able to take photographs and videos, separately or as part of the same sequence.A great thing is that there are lots of options to choose to get it working just how you want it to and the controls are very intuitive. For example, the video length, video/photo quality, motion-detection sensitivity and delay between captures. The camera is easy to set-up and secure with the provided strap, or can be mounted. We use rechargeable 1.5 V Li-ion batteries, which last over a full week of intense motion-capture.It is also well-camouflaged, and fits well into most environments we want to use it in.A feature we particularly like is that the camera front hinges away from the body, but not moving where the camera is pointing towards - this makes setting up in the right direction much easier than with other models. One thing to note is that if you want it to take photos and videos in the same instance, the photos will be captured first, which will slightly delay the start of the video.Overall, we are delighted with our purchase and would thoroughly recommend this model.

Excellent imaging, good sensitivity, well made, water resistant and works well...
We really like this trail cam - despite being (currently) for sale at about forty quid, it gives better results than our other more expensive cams.Is it perfect? Not quite... the sound is less than ideal. The recordings sound thin, they emphasize the treble, so that small birds sound very much louder, and there is a lot more wind noise than other cams we have tried. Tweaking the sound in post production using the excellent (free) 'Audacity' software does help, but wind noise can still a bit of a problem. If the sound is critical to your needs, this might not be the best choice. The 32GB maximum storage can be a hindrance if you need high resolution movies - with 1 minute motion-triggered high res video settings producing 8.4GB of storage in a suburban garden over 14 hours, we only get 56 hours (less than about 3 days) use before needing to swap the largest possible SD card. This may be important to you! We are OK for our primary use, but it could be a nuisance when wanting to store a whole week of wildlife, for example. Reducing the resolution would be a compromise, but it is such a very good image at high res! This Wolfang is ideal for our main purpose - we are very pleased with it, and recommend it!

It works
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this unit from the Amazon Warehouse so it was cheaper than the £39.99 presently being advertised for. I'm not sure what the 36MP stands for but its not Mega Pixels. Just thought I would drop that one in first. I have used this unit in a Hedgehog feeding station and it works, the quality of the video isn't fantastic, but its adequate using IR light source, the 5Mp images are okay but nothing to shout about, you won't be blowing them up to go on the wall. The unit was too close to the subject but still provided acceptable images for visibility of the spiky little critters. The video being 2K was okay, having read the book, I still can't seem to get the video to play for the 3 minutes in the menu, but it has met met my needs. A worthy camera for a cheap price, it won't win any wildlife image awards, but for a starter its worth the price. GET it from the Amazon Warehouse, its under £30.00.

Great Value Trail Cameras
We have been using trail cameras for over 12 years. Having had early ones stolen we have not gone for expensive units, just seeking out best value. Having tried a couple of these out we now have a number of them working 24/7 in our woodland. For the money, we have not found any better. They are simple to use, seem to be fairly weathertight and deliver good sound and vision (accepting their cost). Yes you can get better quality, but you will have to dig deep for it. We also love the full size SD cards, not those stupid little ones that are used in Mobile Phones. You will lose them! The cameras work fine on Amazon Basics high capacity rechargeables, if you exchange them every couple of weeks. Settings, we use the high sensitivity detection level and drop the Video quality back a bit, recording 30 seconds. Picks up the Mice but doesn't miss much that way.

SD card got stuck twice .
No star rating ....SD card got stuck in first trail camera, returned camera. Got a replacement only for SD to get stuck in second camera ,am now trying to get a refund for second camera .Inferior product do not buy as you will have a massive problem trying to remove your SD card ,had to use a knife and a piece of wire to extract SD card from SD slot .This product has a no star rating

Good camera, especially for the price
The media could not be loaded. Good quality pictures and videos, infrared very responsive for the night shots. Perfect for wildlife monitoring in your garden or further afield.Setup is quick and the camera's menu & interface is easy to use, instructions clear; plenty of settings to tailor it to your needs. Having the front screen is a bonus, making it easy to see where you're pointing the device.Fits the usual screwthread for tripods. Rates itself as IP66 waterproof which should allow it be used in all weather types - haven't put this to the test as yet. Some other cameras have a visible red light that comes on at the same time as the infrared, presumably to indicate that it's working, but the fact that the infrared on this camera is invisible with no accompanying visible red light at night is good for animals such as foxes, which can be spooked by the (visible) red light at night.
