Sylvania SDPF785 7 Digital Photo Frame

This is my 2nd one of these. I Love it!

This photo frame makes me want to spit. You buy a Sylvania product, you expect it to be exceptional. That is why I bought the Sylvania brand digital photo frame. Because I bought their LED lights, because I always buy their replacement headlights for my cars, because I LOVE the brand. But this photo frame is cheap junk. I am so very disappointed.Everything from the cheap cardboard packaging that comes apart before you can even get the tape pierced to the cheaply made AC adapter, to the Graphical User Interface, to the convoluted User's Manual, everything screams "MADE IN CHINA". I would have expected this quality from an item I bought on an auction site for $2.99, and that isn't even an exaggeration.Generally, SD cards are fully-inserted into a media reader in order to protect it from being pushed in too hard or broken off. The SD card sticks out like halfway, making the user unsure if they have even pushed it in properly or put it in the wrong way. If this was the way this item was designed, then they should SAY SOMETHING ABOUT THAT in the "USER'S MANUAL". But no, they don't.The buttons on the back are not intuitive, you really, really need to read the instructions, which are in no logical order whatsoever, despite a table of contents. The categories for "chapters" (seriously?) in the table of contents are kind of a stretch for what the subcategories.Worst of all, a standard 4GB SDHC card is considered "too high capacity" for this photo frame. But come on, does anyone really use anything less than a 4GB card? Really? (I feel very badly for them if they do.)The bottom line is, this thing is a cheap product, it soured me on Sylvania products and I may never look at that brand the same again. This is after I bought like $250 worth of LED lights from them in March. Just... Shaking my head. One of the most frustrating experiences of my life.

I have had mine for several years and have had no problems with it. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. Do not understand the other reviewer who gave it a one star.
