Campark Trail Game Camera 14MP 1080P Waterproof Hunting Scouting Cam for Wildlife Monitoring with 120°Detecting Range Night Vision 2.4" LCD IR LEDs I have been using trail/game cameras for over six years and this one has excellent features and performance for the price as of this writing 62$ . Most important to me is sensitivity and high quality imagery and video and the quality of 14MP imagery and 1080 and 720 video is impressive. The most important workload feature to me is the live image preview and media review - this used to be unheard of at this price point. I have paid 150 and 180 for cameras that didn't have this feature. It is so much better to see exactly what area you are going to capture and what you have captured so far without removing the camera or the disk to check the media in the computer. I have taken hundreds of images and several hundred 1 minute videos while testing this on a single set of batteries so am impressed with battery life. Trigger sensitivity has been quite good with the side sensors and the highest setting you can catch the animal in action just as they enter the frame - see the picture attached of just the nose of an elk triggering and the head of a squirrel then they jump into action. I use these cameras to get close ups of birds and small mammals as well as large game and can get clear video and triggers on birds as small as chickadees. Minimum focus distance is about 24 inches so if you put the subject closer than that it will naturally be a little out of focus so account for that in your shoot layout all cameras have that issue you can't get too close and be in focus. Another nice feature is a mounting bracket for a permanent installation which would be useful for home security monitoring applications. I triggered on myself many times walking around so I'm sure it would be good for monitoring trespassing and suspicious activity at least 50 to 75 feet away. The IR night lights are very bright. I chose this camera based on the fact that at the time I was researching, this one had 100% 5 star ratings. Originally I had selected another brand that was almost twice the price, but the strong positive reviews changed my mind.After using it for a little while now, I have to agree with what others have said. It is a well made, compact trail camera with a simple user interface that takes excellent daytime and nighttime photos and videos. The nighttime photos and videos are black & white and use a flash that you cannot see (but your images are very well lit). The interface allows you to choose the hours of operation, adjust shot lag, select time lapse photography, adjust sensitivity and resolution, and time/date stamp your images with outdoor temperature included. You can choose 1-3 photos and/or up to a 10 minute video for each motion it detects.Battery life is impressive. The box includes a tree belt and a permanent mounting base with swivel. I am very happy with my purchase!

The instructions are easy and the camera is user friendly and I was able to set it up in 5 minutes. I would definitely pick up another one to swap out my aging camera in the woods

You can set the camera to record video, photos or both, you can set the record time from 5 seconds to more than 10 minutes, I choose 30 seconds seems the right amount for what I use it for. You can either use 4 or 8AA batteries, I am using 4 sanyo rechargable batteries. The side sensors are nice as it sets the camera ready to take once it hits the center motion detector, faster captures. It really shoots great at nice, if complete darkness and no light its B/W, I have a security light so I get color video and night time with mine. You can set the lag time between setting off the motion sensor to record again. I found it no problem using the supplied wall mount and screwed it right onto my house. The camouflage color would be great out in the wilderness, but since I use it on my house I painted mine to match my house.

I've been attracting hummingbirds to my garden for many years. But trying to get photos of the small fast moving birds has been a real challenge. I saw these trial cameras advertised and thought I'd see if I could get good photos of my favorite garden visitors. I got lucky on my very first day but as you can see from my photos I need to do some adjusting and refining. I not only got my very first hummingbird photo but I also caught a delivery guy leaving a package on my porch. I was so worried that setting this camera up would be very complicated. Instead I found it to be a snap. I set it up the first time without even looking athe durections. If I can set it up this trail camera anyone can!

The first one I bought got me my first pictures of the Badgers on my land (I'd been here for nearly 20 years before I got to see one!)This trail camera is faster on the take, .3s. This makes a big difference when it comes to getting the pictures or missing them. Lots of a personalisation available in the menu, I'll pop a video on for you to watch.The daytime video is very good quality and you get to see everything on the infrared at night time, also this has a really good range (watch the video). I just use the supplied strap to put around trees but it does come with a bracket that can be screwed to a surface. Battery life on these things is amazing and although it says on the box that it supports up to 32GB Micro SD card, I have been using a 64GB card in this.A word of warning, when you play back the AVI video clips on windows, they are speeded up but it says if you use VLC or something similar then that is corrected. I have been editing in Nero and that sorts out the video as well.All in all, if you get one of these, you will see a whole new side to where you live, all the nocturnal animals, this could also include burglars as well if you want to use it for security..... Certainly a good value recommendation from me and my family.

I noticed on my house cctv recordings that there was a hedgehog in my garden, so I ordered a hedgehog house, hay, and food. The house and food were delivered the same day which after seeing the plight of hedgehogs on the television last week really pleased and excited me. I put food and water next to the hutch and the next morning it was gone food dich and all. So that evening I put food out again but placed the food (in another dish) inside the hutch and again the next morning the food was gone and the dish again which puzzled me greatly. So, I bought the camera and set it up. What a wonderful piece of equipment 😊 Now, I know what is going on in my garden when I am in the arms of Hypnos. It is truly amazing to get up in the morning and see pictures and videos of the nights before performance. And Mrs Fox who collects dishes :)

Place it where you want it, open the case, switch it on, close the case and leave it.Regular AA batteries and it seems to have really long life from these.Tripod fixing if needed.Automatically switches to night vision.Can choose to take video, photos or both.In the pictures I've shown what is included in the box. The manual isn't really needed, and my eyes can't read that small anyway. Its a fairly easy to set up through the menu.It can hold 8 AA batteries, although only needs 4 to run, I imagine the other 4 will give more longevity.The photo's look a little washed out, because the camera lens has no IR filter. This is normal for night vision cameras, as they make use of the IR to be able to see. Night shots are black and white, which again is completely normal.Considering the low cost, this is a neat little package and seems to be robust enough to be left outdoors in the British weather.

It has three motion sensors to allow for a 170 degree motion sensing area – that should make it more responsive and eliminate having the subject show up part way in the video image.Camouflage looks good. Not sure if it will work in all environments, but we can work with that.ProsReally good image quality. We are REALLY impressed with the image quality we get from the T45. We have tested a few trail cameras now, and this one performs well.Nice information overlay. We like that it shows the temp (in both imperial and metric), the date and time and the chronologic number of the picture or video. AND, that number corresponds with the file number later in the file containing the images/videos.Good settings right out of the box. We adjusted a couple of things to use this (sensitivety of the motion sensors and the level of light the LEDs produce) but right out of the box this cam is very usable.Long battery life. We used this cam for 5 days (and nights) with only 4 AA batteries and used only about 20% of their life while taking about 80 video clips at 1 minute log. With 8 AA batteries, this thing will last a very long time! We will update this review once we have used this camera for while, and expand on just how long this thing will go on one set of batteries.ConsThe only issue we had with the T45 Trail Camera was that the battery bay door is difficult to get open. Especially if you have big fingers. After using it for a while though, we found that it really isn’t that bad, after you figure out how to use your finger nail to pop it open. We tried leaving it off once, and the batteries jiggled loose and we didn’t get any footage from that shoot.Would have been nice to see…We would like to have seen some kind of GPS function (to show location of imagery) or an app associated with the camera to transfer images more easily. That said, we know that these functions would greatly increase the cost of this camera and we are happy with the price point – especially given the quality and features already included.ConclusionIf you are look for an inexpensive yet quality trail camera, the Campark T45 is a great choice. We have tried several different cameras in this price range now, and this one does really well – especially when it comes to image quality.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have been monitoring a local family of badgers, and this has been a great addition to my other trail cams.First of all, the "Green" is a perfect colour for UK woodland and hedgerow blending- a much more natural colour than my other cameras. Setting it up is really simple and intuitive. The instructions are fairly basic, but there is no need to give more detail. It takes up to 8 AA batteries (it can run on 4 though).It comes with a number of ways to attach- I just use the strap as I like to move the camera around to find the best position. It has survived gales of wind, so the strap is fairly sturdy if you attach it well.Weatherproof: So far it has been out in high wind, driving rain and some light snow. It has experienced freezing temperatures and works perfectly. Sometimes there is a slight delay (literally a few seconds) when I come to turn it back to "setup" mode, but when it's been on standby for 48hours in the frost its understandable. The battery has not gone down at all, even with the weather, so it looks good on that front.I like the motion sensors that point in individual directions as it means I will get the animal more centre in the frame. I have another camera that has one motion sensor and I often end up with the rear end of an animal as it has triggered too late. The trigger speed is good, and you usually get good footage of a fast moving animal coming through.Motion sensor sensitivity: You have three options of sensitivity, I have it at most sensitive. Often with this you end up with videos of trees with wind blowing them, but I have hardly had this happen. Generally this is good as I don't have to delete loads of pointless clips, but there is a chance it could miss something small. That being said, I have captured a mouse at night that I didn't see until the light reflected in its eyes!Photos/Video: So far I have not had much luck with the photos it has taken, but I think this is largely due to the fact that the badgers like to come right up and sniff it so I just get white noise as the infrared light is reflected too close. The cat going by shows the capabilities it has to take photos, and I can't wait for summer when there is better light. The videos are very good. Again I usually start with the badger sniffing the camera then turning away so they are a bit white due to the close proximity- that is my fault and I need to relocate the camera away from their noses. I have attached a video from my other camera (similar make) that shows the reactivity of the T45-1, the first flash is it taking the photo, and the steady light is the video. I can only upload one video to this review so I chose the one showing how responsive the camera is as the badger just carried on and walks out of the frame on the T45-1 video of the same moment. The other screenshot is from a video that is the only one where I have captured 2 at the same time!In summary, this is a great wildlife camera and has been reliable so far, is so simple to set up, and it is really good value for money. The only reason the photos have not been any good yet is my placement of it and the badgers' great liking for coming right up to it. I have great confidence that once I have moved it, it will produce some more cracking images and video.
