Everything you need and more!
I think this sushi making kit would make a really nice gift for yourself or someone else. It is a complete set that comes with everything you need to make rolled sushi, and to eat it. I don’t make sushi very often, but I do make Kimbap which is similar. The rolled bamboo mat is the most important tool to roll the rice and vegetables, but the avocado cutter, sesame oil brush, and rice paddle are great to have also. The set comes with a very nice set of chopsticks with a sheath to keep them in, chopstick rests that look like ducks, and really nice soy sauce bowls for dipping. The chopsticks, rests, and sauce bowls are standouts and would make a nice gift in themselves. The plastic “sushi bazooka” is a little odd, but may be helpful for beginners. Pro tip when making sushi rolls: cover the bamboo roller in cellophane, then you won’t have to wash it half as much. Just discard the plastic wrap when finished rolling.Overall, this is a great sushi making kit. It includes so much, and is high quality. I recommend it with no hesitations!

Everything you need to make sushi + more!
I recently tried the Kirosaku Sushi Making Kit, and I could not be more impressed! This kit has everything you need to make sushi, and then some!My daughters and I love sushi, so using the kit, we tried our hand at making some spicy California rolls. Up until this kit arrived, we’d never even entertained the thought of making sushi—it seemed like something best left to the professionals. Turns out, with this kit, some comprehensive instructions and all the ingredients, along with some patience, making sushi is relatively easy to make. The best part is the teenagers loved it. They mentioned it was even tastier than the sushi from the restaurant. So, if you’ve thought about making your own sushi, but thought it would be too challenging and difficult to do on your own, give this kit a try, you won’t be disappointed! I highly recommend this kit, for anyone who wants to make sushi from home.

Exceeds Expectations!
I have had my eye on getting a sushi making kit for some time, and decided to take the plunge. I was VERY skeptical about being able to use this very well, as I've never even been able to master the use of a bamboo mat without having problems. The kit came with all sorts of handy extras (the chopsticks and duck rests were very nice) and bamboo mat that is better than the one I had. But the star and reason for my order was the cylinder mold ejector that comes with the kit. TBH, I was almost afraid to use it, but right off the bat I was able to fill it with rice, put in my fillings, close off the cylinder, compact the rice/fillings then eject it out onto the nori wrap with ease. All that was left was rolling the nori wrap around the filling and slicing. I tended to use more rice using the mold than I would usually use when spreading the rice out on the nori wrap myself, but that amount is not that much and I always make more rice than needed when doing this task. I'm very pleased with this sushi making kit!

Exactly what i expected
I wasnt expecting anything incredible so i think this ended up being just what i wanted. Not the greatest quality of all time, but a very solid bazooka and the bamboo mats are very nice. All other accessories are kinda cheaply made and unnecessary but are a nice addition

Beautiful Set
Very nice set and you get a lot. I thought the chopsticks were very pretty and the bag they came in nice, and likely just that is worth the price most places. The ducks threw me and had to come here to see they were rests for the chopsticks, which seems overly fancy to me since I usually just rest them on the soy sauce bowl. The inclusion of the avocado knife also makes this set's value. Like having it for more than just sushi making. This set is also clearly for people who actually know sushi and know how to make it, not a beginner set with cheaper pieces and a book on how to do basic rolls. People who get this are generally going to already have an idea or be looking to watch videos on doing their favourite rolls.

Sushi-making gift set
I ordered the "Sushi Making Kit for Two, Set of 14pcs - Knife, Sushi Roller Bamboo Mats, Rice Bazooka, Chopsticks, Holder, Dipping Plate, Slicers, Nigiri Maker, Rice Paddles, and Brush - 4.2"x11.8"x3.9"" thinking it would be a good way to give myself a crash course on making sushi at home. Now that I have it, I feel this is more likely intended to be given as a present because the product looks as if it would fit perfectly in a typical "tourist trap gift shop."The included items in this set are what you see in the product listing - a bamboo mat, sauce cups, chopsticks, etc. - the majority of which are plastic. In all, you receive what you need to get started making sushi, but it seems probable that anyone interested in making sushi at home will not be doing it with this set for very long. Why? Because every element in the set feels cheap and because there are nowhere near enough instructions to actually get started without researching HOW elsewhere. As somebody who has never made sushi at home before, I am thinking I might have all the pieces now to begin. But I don't know how to begin, so I guess I'll look that up.Is this set for a beginner? It must not be since there are no instructions on how to make use of the tools in the kit. Is it for the advanced sushi maker? I wouldn't think an advanced sushi maker would want a set made of what seems to be cheap plastic. Then who is the intended target audience for this product? It's fine for what it is and I guess and I rate it at 3 stars because it meets the bare minimum requirements. I'm just disappointed that this feels like a cheap, "dollar store" quality, junk that will eventually break or be thrown away, eventually to be replaced by something nicer. Perhaps something that doesn't

such a good gift!
my husband started to try and make sushi at home but we didn’t even have a bamboo rolling mat so when i saw this set, it was perfect! everything is so useful, the chopsticks are the weighty kind that sit super nicely in your hand and the cutest little duck chopstick rests.i really like that everything is useful and not all of it is a single use item, the avocado tool, the brush, and paddle spoons are all good for a bunch of other uses.this is a good white elephant gift or just a good gift in general!
