To be honest I was a bit skeptical, but I trusted the reviews and so far they didn't lie. It's been almost 2 weeks that I've put them up in various places around the yard, in a swing, and under the patio. All the frequented spots where it had apparently become a bathroom for the birds. Don't want to jinx it but, I haven't seen 1 dropping. They have even held up, and on, in strong winds. I thought they might be too small, however, they do the job. I'm pleasantly pleased with these bird detractors. 🐦I would definitely recommend. BTW they are very easy to twist into place. If you want them twisted more you might want to use pliers or someone with a small hand. They bend easy so they are easy to shape to the desired look.

this is really pretty hanging outside my windows, but I bought them hoping to deter a very aggressive cardinal from constantly charging the windows starting at 6:30 every morning. Did not work! He uses the hanger as a perch! On to try something else!

These are fantastic! They are super easy to twist and hang. And!!! No birds! Yay!!

The spinners looks good. However, it takes just the perfect speed of wind to make them spin. We also purchased the larger tear drop spinner. The tear drop spins very well with the slightest wind. It could be the size or shape that makes this item less likely to spin.As a bird deterrent, we feel that it helps. Since hanging them at the corners of our deck, we have had fewer birds land on the railings. This means fewer bird droppings. But if there is no motion birds will land on the hook that holds the spinner.The three star rating is due to the wind driven performance. They sway more than spin.

Some of our neighbors use old CD's and fishing line to keep birds away from their porches. Rather than looking overly tacky, we tried these and really enjoy them. They look so much better and are really effective for keeping the nesting Doves and Pigeons away!

These do not keep the birds away. They are solid, I give them that, but they don't move in the low wind. Went back to using the cheap mylar spinners since they spin with little wind to keep the birds away.

Nice product. I used to have longer narrower 1 piece reflective twisted hanging rods what were ok but those have a much nicer decorative look. Will see if the shine lasts and they deter birds as well.

So far so good! Super easy to assemble! It has definitely deterred the birds from wanting to perch on my car mirrors an poop all over it! Would definitely purchase again.
