Affordable way to relax
I was a little concerned that I might not fit as most of the descriptions were for people who were in the 5' 4" range, but someone who is 6' + could comfortably sit inside. The chair, well small, isn't as bad as some of the descriptions given by others. It takes about 7-10 minutes for the steam pot to heat up but after that the heat and timer controls work very well through the remote. You cannot actually see the steam pot when sitting inside but can hear audible sounds when you use the remote. Great way to spend 20+ minutes enjoying a steam. I always wipe down the interior and place a fan inside to help dry it out after I am done. Great value and it works!

Personal Sauna Box
Upside: Touted for no VOC, super easy to setup and use. Great price & quality for a personal sauna getaway box that heating speed 10 minutes tops!Particles that accumulate on the bottom of boiler cleans up beautifully easy with straight vinegar and a light rubbing.Downside: steamer hole should be on the side easier to place heater inside offers more room to place a wooden (bamboo) bench. Will be looking for a bigger sauna tent where I can stretch out in.

Not at all as described …I have it 1 star because of the size
Let me start of by sayin…I didn’t buy this for the price, I actually bought it for the size and shape as well as the ease to store when it’s not in use. I am pleasantly happy with the actual black box you sit in. The material is as expected and the size works in my space. The biggest issue is the directions have little to do with what comes in the box. The little pvc pipes show they are angled (L shaped) in the directions and they are not. You aren’t sure which side goes where, and if you place the box away from your seated area, it crimps the line because it is completely straight. As you can see, the lack of L shaped elbows pvc connectors force the steam box to be too close to your body and it starts to burn your skin. I am shoved completely up against the side with the window and I am not a huge person, so there is just not a lot of room to sit and enjoy the steam without it burning you.The tubing had black marks on it as if they were used or run over by a tire. The listing implies there is a chair with it and there is not.The mechanism that boils the water is cheap and the lid does not go on easily. The handle feels cheap and I’m afraid to use it to turn the cover to seal it. It feels like it’s going to break because there is so much resistance. Additionally, the edges are sharp and uncomfortable to use.The steam box for inside the tent thing is not the same as in the photo and if you place it the direction as shown in the photo, the lid comes off and it spills out.Overall, this was NOT worth the price. Do yourself a favor…Pay the extra $40 and get a better one.The company should either give you what it advertised or fix their really bad directions booklet.

This is a nice alternative to a gym sauna.
I am happy with the performance of this purchase, it is a nice little addition to my home gym.I bought the smaller version, the one that is 57" tall, and it works fine. The reason is that I have a 1bdrm apt and space is limited, this one I can stow away in a closet when not in use. I like it a lot but there are a few design flaws that I did not like. None of them hampered the function of the unit, but just bad common sense. MAYBE it was intentional, I dunno.1. The steam tube is routed thru the bottom of the door. Tripping hazard. My fix: Gorilla Tape the hole, both sides. Do the same on a sidewall, use a razor-knife to cut a SMALL X (about 1" in either direction,) insert coupler there. See photo.2. The original hole was just a hole in the fabric, no reinforcement around it. See solution #1.3. There wasn't a chair, nor foot massager (as advertised) but this wasn't a problem because my cheap Walmart camp chair fit just fine. As for the foot massager, my work around was to cover my feet in peanut-butter, just hang them out the door and let the dog do his job...Just kidding, my dog doesn't like feet.3. The remote is almost useless, the range is shorter than me pressing the buttons, AND my fingers work at ANY ANGLE.All in all, it was a good purchase!Tips!!!Do NOT add essential oils to the boiling pot, add it to the collection box inside the tent, a few drops on a paper towel works just fine. I bear-gassed myself with some Peppermint Oil once and I'm a US Army Chem Corp Vet!!! (Shoulda relied on my training and not some "health guru's" advice!)Yeah, it sucked. Like, REALLY!!!AND MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!There really isn't any place to put the steam box inside the tent other than under your seat. I would recommend to place a towel under yourself to avoid poached privates. Please don't ask...Also, this REALLY builds up water, so my solution was to place a small fan inside the unit, with the entrance door opened at the bottom and the window cracked at the top, then run it overnight to dry out before stowing the tent.I hope this helps and I would purchase this again, you just have to be smarter than your tools sometimes. After a month of use, I became curious as to how hot it actually got inside the tent, so I bought an analog thermometer/hydrometer combo and mounted it inside on a safety pin.At setting 5 it gets to 105F (51C?) and about 65% humidity, which is sufficient for a good sweat. 65% humidity seems to be the max, I haven't tried it at higher settings yet. When I do, I'll update this.

Missing parts but they sent them Quickly
First of all it’s big and roomy, great I am a big guy! Bad news is that is is missing the tube for the steam and the controller that allows you to adjust it inside the steamer. The instructions have both listed.UpdatedThey have taken care of it. I had bought a tube that worked. They refunded me the cost of the tube and sent me the correct tube attachments and controller. The customer service is great and there is no hesitation. I would say they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything.

Alot to know
I have used this sauna for a month now, twice a day. Here's what I learned. The temperature has not gone over 44.2 degrees Celsius - advertised for 50c+.From what I experienced, the room temperature you have the sauna set up in, needs to be 25c to achieve 44.2c sauna temperature. The top/roof of the tent needs a pole structure to form a peek, otherwise constant drops of built up moisture/water drips on your head/face, which is very annoying. An enormous amount of water builds up on the floor. I mean an incredible amount of water which, sometimes stays cool and in return, cools your feet which in return, lowers your body temp. I suggest a perforated platform to rest your feet on. Be prepared to do alot of clean up after each use.The location of the hose from the steam machine that leads into the tent is placed in a poor location. It is located in the front/emtrance. Inside the tent is a small water container that collects moisture from all the steam. It collects water, it literally fills the container with steaming hot water. So far I have burned my feet twice. This is from entering the tent quickly and trying to close the tent door quickly not to lose heat. The tent is very small quarters. Re locating the hose to the side would be much better.Overall for what you pay for it is effective, but it definitely has it's cons over pros.
