Bought this for my 10 y/o son’s birthday as a small side gift because his main gift was running late.I certainly was not expecting this to be one of his favorite gifts. He absolutely loves this basketball hoop set! It comes with the strong spring on the base of the hoop for when you slam dunk, but I wouldn’t recommend to slam dunk on a regular lol

Ok, I just burned 'I don't know how many calories' trying to beat my high score from when I first put this together. No luck as of yet, but I did move it to a hallway with easier ball retrieval.Ahem.... anyhow - this is a lot of fun, and with how cold it is outside it's a nice way to burn up some calories with a fun indoor activity. This thing is built VERY solidly and I would say it's easy to assemble with just a screwdriver. (Drill may be overkill as you don't want to risk busting anything.)One caveat I'd put out there is that the sensor is pretty sensitive. If you hit the rim hard enough, you score a point. If you shoot under the rim and push the net just right, you score a point. So, if you're some hardcore point keeper, keep this in mind. Knowing that this does this is a way to remove scores if you're tracking vs. other players. The occasional HARD rim hit and subsequent ball falling in will count as two. You get the idea.The included pump was nice, and the plastic filling needle can be stored in the handle to keep it safe and not lost. I did remove it after filling and put it back in there to store the pump and not worry about it being smacked in a drawer and breaking. Of course, any filling needle will work, but I like to keep this little guy handy for when it's needed and for nothing else.Have fun!

I was impressed with the ease of putting this basketball hoop together. The instructions were clear and I only need a standard philips screwdriver to put it together. It came with it's own pump for inflating the balls and my kids have played with it every day since we got it.It's extremely durable. My 10 year old dunks it all the time and it is doing fine. The hoop is spring loaded like a standard hoop so it has some flexibility when getting rough with it.

The media could not be loaded.  This Gimcalo Indoor Over The Door Basketball Hoop is a smaller scale version of a standard basketball hoop, and comes with four inflatable basketballs, two each of six-inch and five-inch balls, a manual pump inflator with needle, two over the door hooks, and four stick on door protecting foam corners for the back of the hoop. The instruction manual is extremely vague in the assembly process, so watch my attached video, and I show you where the seven various sized screws go, and how to correctly loop the net. The electronic score keeper is a nice bright digital readout, and there are additional LED accent lights that look great on the clear acrylic backstop. Crowd cheering sounds and three play modes are built in to the electronics, and various versions of each play mode is available for one or multiple players. You will also need 3 AA batteries, which are not included. This is a solidly built, heavy duty hoop set that should last for years, and it truly is fun for all ages. I can happily recommend this for anyone of any age, even though the product page says up to 12 years; a bunch of us middle aged guys played with this hoop for a couple of hours the other day. Definitely get this Gimcalo hoop set. It is very fairly priced for its numerous features and construction of quality materials.
