The funnel is really beautiful. For the most part
The funnel is really beautiful. For the most part, it appears to be sturdy and well made. However, it came with a "dosing cup", which is shown in a couple of the photos on Amazon's product page but doesn't appear in the description. I don't know what a dosing cup is. Perhaps it has something to do with canning, a subject I know almost nothing about. From the outside, the cup is lovely. However, if you look inside it, the copper plating covers only part of the surface. Moreover, it looks unintentional, even sloppy. Unfortunately, it leads me to question the quality of the funnel. In addition, there was a sharp point on the rim of the funnel. Fortunately, that was probably a grain of something that got stuck in the plating during manufacturing. I was able to get it off by rubbing at it. So far I'm generally happy with the purchase, but wary when it comes to long term use.

The funnel itself is beautiful and does the job. I use the funnel when I shop in bulk. That way, I can make sure nothing spills out, and I can use either a wide- or regular-mouth jar. The cup, as others have said, is not the same quality. It had the copper finish about half of the inside was left unfinished. There are also scratches on the inside. I’m not sure what I’ll do with it. Perhaps I’ll use it as a toothbrush holder.

Copper wide mouth funnel
I looked all over for a funnel like this - wide mouth, metal or a material that wouldn't stain easily, not meltable easily.I like to container leftover soup or sauce into jars, but didn't have an easy way to do so.This funnel works really well! I don't have to worry about slightly warm liquids..It also came with a little cup that I have no idea what it is for so I left it in the box, in the cabinet.

lovely and useful
I love the looks of this copper canning funnel. And, it works perfectly. I have had no issues with the copper getting dull. It shines right up with every cleaning. I am happy to have a durable and attractive kitchen tool I will be able to use for years. I accidentally melted the plastic one that came in my canning kit. This is so much more functional.

Supposed to be used for canning, but I use it to transfer strained greek yogurt into jars. Funnel is stable and cleans up easily.
