You get a lot of tubes for your money here and also a nice case to store them in.I appreciate that most people use these for insulating electric cables and they are ideal for that but they also have other uses. The rubber is a good electrical insulator, but also thermal insulator so I used some for insulating the metal handles of my toaster sandwich clips where the original plastic handles had broken off. This worked a teat, no longer a need to use oven gloves.I like the quality and the variety, but ideally, I would have rather had longer lengths that you could cut to size. However, I appreciate that for most electrical insulation tasks the current length just over 4cm is fine and you can always butt to tubes up together if you need a longer length.

The tubing has an internal coating of hot melt adhesive which can help to seal wiring joints and keep it in place after shrinking. It has a shrink ratio of 3:1 and having a good range of sizes enables the user to select the ideal diameter which will pass easily over a wiring joint prior to heating it.Having used it to cover joins in speaker wiring I found that it works very well and having the internal adhesive which activates when the tubing is heated provides a very secure fit. Considering that there are 260pcs of tubing supplied in a useful storage box, it is in my opinion reasonably priced and I would certainly order again once I have used this pack. Recommended.
