EcoPlus Eco 1056 Water Pump Fixed Flow Submersible Or Inline For Aquariums, Ponds, Fountains & Hydroponics - UL Listed, 1083 GPH, Black

I use the EcoPlus pumps on my DIY canister filter projects and they seem to last forever. The 300 GPH pump I purchased over 5 years ago and still going strong. This new 1032 (i think) pump is providing filtration to my 55 gal tank (maybe a little over kill). It's not as quiet as the smaller pump but still very tolerable. I highly recommend this EcoPlus pump for any situation where a reliable, quiet pump is needed.

This excellent little pump is a workhorse.Low cost to operate.This pump is reliable and has excellent and consistent pressure.I've recently purchased two other EcoPlus pumps, both are 396 GPH. I love them all.Durability: I'm ashamed to say that I've abused this pump significantly, by letting my water level get too low in my reservoir on several occasions. The pump ran dry for hours. Upon re-filling the reservoir there was no change in water pressure or consistency of output of the pump (There was no damage to the pump!) miraculously!

I've gone through plenty of these thru the years...they work great, when they are actually working.

Very good pump but you have to use 1 inch pipe for max flow... there is no head pressure on these... you have to use line big enough for the flow of water you wantAlso these make great utility pumps... I use one to blow around and under my rock work and to turn my gravel over so I can syphon out most the debris in the tank

I'm building a new water feature in my yard and I needed a pump. I was able to get this on from Amazon for half the price of the box stores. I liked the number of adapters they included with it so I had no trouble hooking up my first test pipe. The pump also has adapters so it can be used as a submersible or out of the water. Volume is more than I need right now, but eventually I'll build a waterfall and need it.

13 months later, I use the pump infrequently and the output is now less then half of what it was new, all other plumbing unchanged. Almost worthless to me at this point, and the warranty is 3 months expired.Works good, the end twists off and you can have easy access to the impeller. This however leaks on mine. Not a big deal for me cause mine is mounted outdoors, would be a huge problem if you mounted indoors. Works best if you can use it submerged, I used it both submerged and suction mounted and the exterior mount works better for me, so I can leave it mounted.
