DoffDOFAM004DS 4M Slug and Snail Adhesive Copper Tape - Multi-Colour

Purchased 3 boxes £6.74 (per item for 4m). I opted for a branded version in the hope that it would be more superior to the more cost-effective choices out there. The picture says it all. Currently looking into making my own spray to naturally repel these little blighters from my crop of veg.

The media could not be loaded.  Simply doesn’t work. I made several tests. All slugs ignored it and walked on it. Decided to put my hosta out of the greenhouse for the night, with the product around the pot, and found it the next day with holes on leaves so made videos while testing it. Waste of money and time using the product. The tape material is so think and more paper like that the actual metal. Maybe the real metal will work but this tape is a joke. Absolutely disappointed. Doff, shame on you!!

Bought some of this stuff from homebase over 5 years ago. A single 4m roll each was sufficient to go around my raised beds and has lasted until now. I've recently dug the beds out and stripped off all the filth and algae and decided to redo the copper tape - mostly for aesthetic purposes as it never was all that effective as a slug repellent. The old tape was still well stuck to the wooden beds with over 80% of it still intact after all this time. The stuff I received was much thinner than the previous material, and has not adhered well. I did one bed months ago. I bought a second roll which came today and is so short it has only gone half the way round one bed, it can't have been more than 2m in length, nevermind 4. Sadly I've bought one more to finish it off so that it matches and will never touch the stuff again. I advise you avoid my mistake.

Put gloves on before using this serrated tape.I put this tape on pots and wondered where the blood was coming from. Has to be the serrations. Like having deep paper cuts very sore. Never had any troubles with the square edge tape. Doff wasn't interested. Doubt this will be listed.

after placing a slug on my pot and placing a slug on it, to see how affective it was, became very disappointed as instead of getting/falling off the tape it just kept on going about its busyness - ON THE TAPE, i'm sorry but think it is a waste of money.
