Genuine HK32EA001 Defrost Control Board OEM Factory Upgraded P/N CEPL130524-01 ICP Circuit 1173636 for Carrier Bryant Payne Heat Pumps - Exact Replacement Part HK32EA007

I bought this defrost control board to replaced the fried unit in my AC unit. Install was easy, shut off the power supply. Remove the electronics cover. Then photograph the old unit in place from several angles so you have a record of how it fits and the correct connections. Unplug each of the wiring connectors. Unscrew the four screws that hold the board in place. Put the replacement board into position, replace the screws and the wiring connectors, and put the cover back over the electronics bay. Switch the breaker back on, and hey presto! The AC unit roared back to life. Simple, and saved me hundreds of dollars over getting a technician in. Great product.

My AC was broken for over a year and with the GA heat starting so strong in May/June, I knew I needed to fix it. Originally I was told it would be “impossible” to find the parts for what I needed since the unit I have is older than I am, but luckily one quick google search brought up this motherboard and it is the EXACT one that was already inside it (I didn’t expect that at all and was looking into universal/standard motherboards). Anyways, after replacing a few other parts that fried/shorted out, the 22 year old unit is running strong. This motherboard works exactly as is intended and I couldn’t be happier with the price on it, either. Amazon for the win once again!

The PWB seemed like it was more solid than the one installed in the condenser (which is one year old). Set the sip switches and it worked like a charm. Very good product.

Part came fast at a good price..👍

We’ll see if there are any issues with the change of season. But so far so good on my carrier unit.
