Great hinges!
Very unique hinges. I purchased them for an antique cedar chest I wanted to use for a toy box. Easy to install. Although they did not work for this chest because of the weight of the lid, I still give them 5 stars.

The quality is good, it adjusts easily, it is mostly easy to install, a little fiddling is required, and it looks exactly the same as the cabinet store hinges. Once installed the guides are little loose so they move around a bit though, just like at the cabinet store.

Not what I expected and very bad instructions
There are no instructions on how to put the hinges together and the installation measurements are WRONG! We got them installed but NOT ONE of the measurements given to install the hinges were correct and the diagrams were upside down. Avoid these at all COSTS!

Unique. Could use Better Demonstration
The media could not be loaded. Before I purchased I had no idea if they would work for me. The description, images said they might but fell short of a quality demonstration. Now that I have them I can say "yes" these will and do actually work. Ive never used anything but gas struts for this purpose but this hinge really does offer a "continuous" soft close. I mean you must watch the video to get the full explanation but they open freely and then you must apply force (adjustable) to return the lid to its closed position. If at anytime you stop closing the lid will stay in that position. So this is not a soft close as you may know it but it will prevent a lid from slamming shut.My images demonstrate how to assemble the components and reverse to make a matching pair of left & right hinges. There are instructions provided but they are just a guide.Cheers

Needed a soft closing kitchen cabinet hinge. This was just the job, simple to install and a fantastic operation. What more do you need
