Highly recommend
I have resisted getting into adjustable dumbbells for the longest time but having a bunch of dumbbells pairs in 5 or 10 pound increments was getting annoying.I don't like the odd shape of some adjustable dumbells, don't trust movable parts to not fail over time (and render entire thing useless) and I also don't like the rattle of some of the adjustable sets out there. This set has none of those drawbacks. It's dead quiet - plates don't move or make a sound once the 2.5 lb screw is set. The shape is comfortable for sitting on your lap between seated sets (include bench or seated overhead press). They are dead simple. The plates themselves are individual pieces with metal rivets that fit snug into each other so they feel solid. No moving parts and no plastic. I have not had the opportunity to use the much more expensive Ironmaster adjustable dumbbells, but this might be a close competitor. I bought one to try it out, and thru Amazon since return policy protects me. But now I plan to buy another (to have a pair) and then buy additional weight plates to expand these up to 75 lbs each. The ONLY drawback or downside I can see, is the handle is fairly thick, since it has to allow the pins to thread into it. Its thicker than a standard barbell. My hands are slightly large, and I have no issue. Included a photo of it and next to a small 20 lb dumbbell for reference. Some females or men with small hands might not feel as confident gripping them.

Super well built. Handle a bit fat.
These are really well built. Unlike other adjustable dumbbells they are rock solid when locked up. No concern at all with them dropping a weight on my face or breaking. No rattling or loosening. They feel like one solid piece. The slot in the weights make them quick to adjust. Just loosen the big end knob, slide a weight in or out, and spin them tight. The only thing that knocks these down to 4 stars is the large size of the grip and soft knurling. This makes them tougher to grip which you notice when they are heavily weighted for something like rows. Not ideal for small hands. I wear a large glove size and I wish the handles were smaller.

Nice adjustable dumbbell set
I wanted an adjustable dumbbell set that was simple, all metal, compact, easy to adjust, non rattling, and could go over 50lbs. This set met those requirements and hasn’t disappointed. Some mentioned the large handle but I find it is not too large for me. Also I like the availability of the kettle ball handle. Probably buy it next.

These are awesome dumbbells, fast weight change, super compact, and go heavy!
Intro:My previous set of dumbbells was some electronically adjustable NordicTrack iSelects. I liked them because they were just about the fastest changing dumbbells on the market. I could Just turn the knob to set the weight I wanted on the display and in about 2 seconds it was ready to go. Unfortunately, they were recalled due to safety issues. There aren't many reviews out there yet about these iFast dumbbells, so I thought I would throw my hat into the ring by writing one here. I purchased mine directly from iFast, but what I received is exactly the same as what's shown in this listing for the 50lb square ones. Why I bought these:I liked the speed of the NordicTracks when they worked properly. But when it came down to it they were large and awkward for their weight as well as being wrought with annoying electronic bugs and mechanism issues. I wasn't using them at their full 50lb weight at the time, but 35lbs felt pretty awkward to use due to the long length of the dumbbells. I could see that using them at 50lbs was going to be even worse, once I started using that weight regularly. In addition, 50lbs would be the ceiling for me with no way to expand from there when the time came.Design:After my experience with the NordicTracks, I put compactness on my list of things that I wanted, and these iFast dumbbells are really great in that regard. While IronMasters might have some better quality (such as the knurling on the handles), I didn't like the high price or the mechanism itself really. iFast and EisenLink are somewhat similar design to IronMaster, but I prefer the iFast quick-change design to IronMaster to be honest. Having to only loosen (rather than completely remove) the screw seems faster and more secure to me.Size:My old NordicTrack dumbbells were somewhere around 16 1/4" long at 50lbs, and pretty awkward to use due to the length. These iFast dumbbells measure 11 1/2" at the same weight, which makes them a lot easier for me to maneuver. They can go pretty heavy too, and at 80lbs measure only 14".Expandability:I bought two sets of 50s so that I could do drop sets and so that between the two sets I have enough plates to get them to 80lbs. I was also able to fit one more plate on and get them to 90lbs with the stock screws. At 90lbs, they measured 14 5/8". The manufacturer doesn't recommend going above 80lbs using the existing screws but there seems to be plenty of thread to secure them safely. I heard that they are going to offer a longer set of screws in the future. This will allow these to go much heavier for those who can lift big iron.iFast also offers a kettlebell handle that gives you an adjustable kettleball using the same plates you've already got if you have their dumbbells.Things that I would improve:For the price, the iFast dumbbells are a great value compared to IronMaster. There are things that IronMaster definitely does better though. One of those things is the knurling on the handles. The 'knurling' on the iFast is sort of a cast / pressed diamond pattern with very little grip compared to the genuine knurling with bite that IronMaster has. I find that my hands slip on these pretty easily. A little chalk helps, but I really wish iFast would put nice contrasting silver handles on these with real knurling like IronMaster has.Another thing that I would like to see is a heavy handle kit similar to what IronMaster offers. Such an add-on would increase compactness even more and also improve the center of gravity and feel. In addition, it would solve one issue that both Ironmaster and iFast handles have. The handles are quite long, so it's difficult to keep your hand centered, which gets more important as things get heavier.I contacted iFast about this as a possible future add-on, but unfortunately I don't think they understood what I was asking for due to the language barrier. :-/Conclusion:I thought that the change from my old dumbbells to these would be a difficult transition and that the slower weight adjustment would be a hinderance, but it turned out not to be the case. The changeover is quick enough that I don't find myself having any issue with drop-sets, and am loving how compact and solid feeling these are. I don't feel like I need to worry about dropping them or damaging them either, because they are so heavy duty. The locking mechanism is simple, solid, and gives me a lot of confidence. The screws tighten securely and easily, so I don't have any concerns using them overhead. They have no plastic parts and they feel like they will last forever.TLDR; For build-quality, compactness, and expandability, I don't think there is anything better out there for the price than these right now.

Best Dumbbells
I’ve been searching and searching and watching demos on different dumbbells. These are the best dumbbells period. Fast to change and sturdy. No plastic parts. The handle is fine for me. A handle to thin is no good. This handle is perfect in my opinion. I’m 5’8”.

Excellent quality
This weight set is as advertised fast and easy to adjust between different weights. Make sure that you always tighten the large end bolts and as always don't drop them. If you're prone to dropping your weights get single weight, solid, one-piece dumbbells. My only downgrade is that the handle is too big and could easily be reduced by 1/4" or 5mm in diameter to better fit a normal person's hand.
