So comfortable
I have another cheap Switch grip that I really enjoyed. This one just eeks out the win in terms of comfort. The other one is also not dockable. The dockability does present one design flaw for well-used devices. In order for the grip to fit in the standard dock, it has its bracing support at the bottom of the joycons keeping the bottom of the tablet unobstructed for docking. I find sometimes that when I go to press the power button on top of the tablet, the joycon on that side will often slip from its locked position. I'm sure a newer device with less worn locking mechanisms won't have this issue.Other than that, I love the rubber nubs that hold the switch slightly off the body of the grip likely aiding in heat dissipation. It's also just a really sleek fit. It feels way more structurally sound compared to the cheaper grip I have. I wasn't looking to upgrade, but we got a 2nd switch so my partner uses the other grip now. I'm really happy with this one.For the record, I have larger than average hands and I can't play the switch on its own very long without feeling discomfort.

100% worth it
I wasn’t able to play my system anymore from my hands instantly cramping, so thanks to this I’ve been finally able to play again 😭 I saw tons of reviews praising these which I was like ehh prob sponsored but legit so worth it to get this. Honestly this makes it feel like an actual system with weight/grip, not grasping onto literally nothing cramping your hands after 5 mins lol. It’s crazy Nintendo didn’t just design the system to have similar standard controllers tbh.

The one thing I don't like about it
When I dock this grip into my switch dock it blocks the use b ports on the dock it's kinda annoying

A must buy
This is my very first grip for the switch and I wasn’t expecting anything special, but when I actually tried it on my switch I couldn’t go back, it feels really comfortable in your hand, and it repositions your right thumb to be on the thumb stick instead of sitting on the buttons, it did require a little bit of more force to dock it but nothing major and it doesn’t require any extra force to take it out of the dock, the switch cannot slide out of the grip unless you actually try to. The game card holder on the back are a really good add on for me personally, they aren’t gonna come out unless you try to take them out, it ain’t cause any scratches or damage to my switch when putting on or docking it. Overall it makes the switch feel like a completely different console and in my opinion it feels more comfortable than the switch pro controller. It’s definitely an essential if you have a switch.

Definitely amazing
I avoided the original Zen grip because it wasn't dockable but this one fixes that issue. I have the Skull& Co grip and a Mumba grip bit they aren't as comfortable as this one. The one thing I don't see mentioned all that much is the fact that the two sides are actually angled differently so that it places your thumbs exactly where they need to be for the most comfortable grip. I also really like the softer rubber texture on the grips instead of hard plastic. The game storage capability is pretty neat too since I only actually own two physical games and I buy the rest of my games digitally. I will say that the access to the kickstand is pretty much useless because there's no way to set it at an angle so you can use it. And the little built-in kickstand nubs are just there to hold the thing up vertically so if you want to try to set it on the desk and use like a pro controller or something with it that's not really something it can do or any other grip style case I would say. So it's either a full handheld mode or in the dock with this case which is fine for me. Overall definitely one of the best comfortable grips I've ever used even though it is quite pricey it is worth it

Best to have
Now I can play with my Nintendo switch without having any issues holding the handheld. Really comfortable to hold.

Good but can’t justify the price.
I will keep this review short as it’s pretty cut and dry as far as reviews go. The game grip itself is good. It actually makes the switch much more comfortable to hold for longer play sessions in portable mode. The material is nice and doesn’t feel cheap. I like the little rubber grips that hold the switch console into place so it’s nice and secure in the grip. There is no movement what so ever and there is no risk of the switch coming out of there without you physically taking it out. On the back of the grip handles there are two slots that hold a switch game. It’s a nice little feature if you want to swap out and play a different game. The only thing I don’t like is the price. $45 at the time of writing this is pretty absurd for a plastic holder for the switch. There are many other options for less or a little more. I have bought third part joycons that are ergonomic and even function wirelessly for half the price. Then other options like a nitrodeck for a littleExtra will add a bit more functionality to the switch console. So with that being said I would recommend these if you have no interest or use for other options out there.

Helps with Carpal Tunnel
I have carpal tunnel and it got worse with when I started playing on the Switch. These really help make the gaming experience way more comfortable.

Helps to reduce wrist strain over the original switch in hand held mode
This is easy to put on and take off the switch and massively increases comfort for gameplay and allows for a better grip on the switch device, leading to extended play sessions. It does increase the overall weight a little but it’s not uncomfortable. It is worth noting a case which fits this is sold separately so a standard case for travel will not work

Great grip but don’t buy just for the dockable feature
As a grip on its own, this product is amazing and I’d highly recommend it to anyone for that reason as it makes handheld gaming sessions way more comfortable. However, the main selling point of this new Zengrip Ronin is that you don’t need to take it off the console in order to dock it and that’s where my issues lie. Firstly, with the grip still on, it is a very tight fit to get your switch into its dock - in my experience, to the point where the front end of my Switch OLED’s dock bends forward slightly. Secondly, because of the tight fit, you run the risk of scratching and damaging the screen on your switch as well. Finally, you have to give it a bit of force to get the switch to sit in the dock with the grip still attached - which could damage the console in the long run.For these reasons, I would only recommend buying this one if you don’t already own another satisfye grip like the zengrip pro or if you like the idea of being able to access the kickstand with the grip still on. For anyone thinking of buying this to replace a satisfye grip they already own, I would recommend against it.
