It might not cover your entire child - it would be a tad small depending on if you have a tall child. I would get it anyway- it’s soft and adorable and would still be nice to snuggle with.

It depends how tall she is. I purchased this for my granddaughter. She is 4'3 and weighs about 55 pounds. This blanket goes past her feet.
