OSI Quad Window, Door and Siding Sealant Clay 333, 10 Fl Oz, Cartridge

I was introduced to OSI sealant years ago when watching another craftsman use it on the job site. When I asked about it the guy asked me if I ever used a silicone based outside only to find it dirty or black years later. (The answer was "Yes") He said this stuff doesn't do that, and it doesn't fade or discolor. Another big plus is it's offered in a myriad of colors. After replacing all the windows in my house I found a OSI sealant (caulk) that perfectly matched the beige exterior color of my new windows. I caulked the entire perimeter of each window (the edge of the window to the brick mould and the edge where my new brick mould contacted the brick. That was almost 10 years ago and the sealant looks as nice and as pretty as the day I applied it. WARNING: This stuff does not apply like regular caulk. Its on the sticky side and it can't be tooled without making a mess. NET: If you have the tip of the tube cut / trimmed as needed and you apply a steady force as you move the caulk gun along it goes down great. I strongly suggest you practice laying down a bead first. Fact: Once I got the hang of it... it's now the only caulk I'll use on any exterior project.
