Brought for my Mum who is suffering from spinal stenosis. Painful standing or sitting so was looking for something that sat lower and supported her lower back. She feels it helps her to sit and stand more upright, giving her security. Hard to say if it offers pain relief as her pain is constant, but it is helping her. Slim fit so it can be worn under clothes without detection. Easy to put on, and pull tightly. Strong velcro. Definitely recommend that you measure and add a few more cms. My Mum measured 36, but medium was too small and we ended up buying the large, which gives a nice amount of wrap. Her only criticism is that she would have liked the band to be a little wider. Measurements described are true to size.

UPDATE, (Since writing this review, the company have reached out to me, and they have been brilliant, understanding and its been resolved completely now) . I have had this a few weeks now.. it takes a while to get used to it and position it in the right place. For an older lady with a bit of a tummy, it's sometimes tricky. But after a while it does actually lessen the pain in my hips and keeps them supported and I wear it for the gym and work.. but have started to notice that a little bit of stitching is starting to come undone and the velcro main bit at the front is becoming not so secure and sometimes pops open, I have cleaned it, but it still happens.. so I just need to be more aware of this when in the gym.

I suffer with sacroilitis some days I find it very difficult to move I searched for something to help to ease the pain and came across this as the reviews were really good.I wasn't expecting much with this but was really surprised with this item it's great I put on the belt and to my surprise I found that it eased the pain straight away and so comfortable to wear. I wear it most days when the pain is really bad I've found it so good I can now bend to put my socks on.Great item. So glad I purchased it.

Had bought a large back brace before self diagnosing my back pain. This is much less cumbersome, does ride up a little if worn over clothes but seems to have done the job. Been wearing for 2 weeks and no back pain

Really effective belt for stability for people with back pain.

I purchased this as I found my hips and legs ached after walking for a length of time. I now wear it when I know I have some long walks planned; when I am visiting places on holiday, walking the dog, etc. It gives me added support and really helps. It doesn’t show under baggy clothes and I can even wear it to my gym. It fits well around the hips and is quite comfortable to wear.

I ama male and this doe's help my back pain when sitting, having two spine ops and proplems with hampstrings on my pelfis it does help and it is comfortable to where under my jeans. michael
