Water flow meter for garden hose - updated
This flow meter works exactly as it is supposed to, except that it is not very accurate. You press the button to move from one measuring mode to the next. Very simple to use. But . . . I checked the accuracy by filling a 5 gallon bucket. I didn't expect a perfect measurement. But reading 7 gallons to fill a 5-gallon bucket seemed beyond normal tolerances. OK, I am mostly interested in total flow, so I just multiply the total by .7 to get close to the true number, I can do that. The seller sent me a replacement meter. Very quick turn-around from them, thanks. It took me a while to get around to testing it, but my results showed 4 gallons to fill a 4-gallon bucket. Tried it several times, very consistent readings. the original meter read 6.1 gallons, So, it was definitely faulty. Thanks for the replacement.

Worked for 1.1 gallons when tested on arrival. Dead on 2nd use 4 months later.
Update 8/4/24: Restmo responded to my warranty inquiry and sent a replacement, received by me in a couple of days, so 5 stars for their customer support. I've bumped up the review for the product to 4 stars.Setting up the replacement water meter I installed the battery and closed it up. The display wouldn't respond to the button press, long or short. I could remove the battery cover and held the battery with my finger and it worked fine. Put the cover back on and no response. I hooked it up to the hose and sprayed water, no response from the meter. It stayed on 0.1 gallons. I tried replacing the battery a couple of times and removing it and putting it back on the hose a couple of times but still nothing. The display showed a full battery and 0.1 gallons. I went inside and got my phone to make a video of it not working so I could let the seller know. It started working; go figure.I was using this to calibrate the holding tank sensors on my travel trailer. After putting 20 gallons in one and 18 gallons in the other, twice, I was satisfied that the Restmo was working. I let them know and they reminded me that the warranty was in effect for 18 months.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------I ordered and received the Restmo O-WM-3-GN water flow meter in March 2024. I tested a few days after arrival and it measured 1.1 gallons; accurate enough. I removed the battery and let it dry in the house then put it away until July 2024. Now it reads nothing and will turn itself off after 1 minute. The literature says they warranty it for 1 year from purchase. I've emailed them as instructed by their instructions.

no readout
Purchased last March, 2024, after having to return one that did not work. This one worked until now in january 2025, didn't even last a year. There is no display, cleaned the filter, changed battery, display doesn't read at all. Looking for troubleshooting videos, to no avail. And this brand is rated the highest! Are they not supposed to last one year? Not expensive but it adds up to keep replacing. Am tired of cheaply made gadgets.

Works at low flow rates
Got tired of trying to count the water as it came out a hose so got one of these. Was simple, seems accurate but haven't done any laboratory testing in a controlled environment, yet. Like that it reads low flow rates. That was very import to why I needed it. I'm in a small water district of about 100 customers and I think I've been overcharged for years. I took a guess how much water I used in a day, 50 gallons. I hooked up the miracle meter in line and after a week it averaged 48 gallons a day. Huh, almost exactly double what the water district bills say is my average use is over a month. So I'm thinking it may get me a huge refund or all my overcharged water back. I don't have any place to store years of water so I'm hoping they give me check or credits. Thanks RESTMO.

Much better than my previous one.
I installed the water meter on the Black Tank Flush of my Class A Motorhome.Once the tank has been emptied it allows me to see how many gallons of fresh water have been added before doing a rinse cycle.Much superior quality to my previous meter, brass ends and an easier to read display. The rotating display is a very useful feature.Very pleased with my purchase.
