I really like this case, its a quality case with very nice leather that feels great in the hand; thin and minimal while not too slick and not overly grippy. I got the black which is called charcoal wood black so one would assume its not going to be midnight black which some of the other reviews seemed to think it was going to be. I think its a really cool dark greyish black color which has an awesome contrast against the black iphone 14 pro max that will petina darker in some areas over time which will be even better looking. the buttons are black metal and have a nice click to them and the magnets on the case are very strong, stronger than any other case I have tried. my only complaint is that the hole where the mute slider is located could be a little bigger but in no way takes away from this being the best case I have found for my phone.

Update, customer service contacted me and remedied the situation. Still leaving one star off for such a susceptible area of breakage.I’ve tried three of these cases. All within two weeks. The first one was perfect but the plastic above the charge port broke when trying to remove the case. Then I ordered another and that one came broken. So I ordered another and that one came in a plastic bag and was also broken and looked used. I love the look, feel, and the leather is a nice feel. But man do they have cheap plastic and a weak point there. So sad. I want to use this case but can’t if it keeps breaking there.

Case feels solid and the texture is not completely what I expected but after reading the description it feels as described. Not quite a smooth leather but more of a tactile suede finish. It’s grippy and soft and feels great in the hand. Will update after I get some more time with it.

This case feels good in the hand and is easy to hold. My phone went into the case easily but fits tightly. With the leather and the lining, the case has nice cushioning should you drop your phone. A couple reviews mentioned the black leather was more of a brown-black. Mine was a soft black, which I like, but lighting can make a difference. Because of the other reviews, I'd also prepared to buff a little black leather wax on the case. The tiniest bit gave the leather a rich black look and the leather still has the same soft feel. If the black isn't dark enough for you but you really like the case, you might want to try a little black leather wax.

As most people in looking for a replacement for the OG Apple leather cases. Considering the price, this one missed the mark in the following ways:-Color: The dye used isn’t very strong, and actually comes off during use (the back of my Apple wireless battery is now black). So not only is my case more of a grey or brown color, but the rubber back of my battery is now stained.- MagSafe: They got this half right, but didn’t include the alignment magnet for MagSafe, although it’s shown in the product photos. This is the smaller vertical magnet that locks your phone in on various accessories and makes sure it doesn’t spin on the magnetic connection.- Ports: The buttons are very pronounced, which took getting used to but is fine, the volume and mute switch port is so deep it is unusable with adult hands.Overall: my particular case had a sloppy application where the leather meets the camera area.For the price I paid this case is not worth it with all of these flaws. I typically don’t write reviews anymore but thought this one deserved telling others

My Apple case was worn to a point where it was slippery and showing its wear, I didn't want to spend another $50-70 on one of their cases. So I gambled on this and I'm very pleased with the quality! Nice case!

Had an apple leather case on 12pro for years. Never cracked. Had this case on for 3 days. Dropped it flat and cracked the screen.Quality of it seems okay, looks much dryer then the old apple ones. Has like a bit of brown showing through like the black leather is stretch too tight that it’s showing though.Over all it’s just okay for $50. Much prefer the apple ones for $50, too bad they don’t make those anymore.

So I loved my Apple leather case but it’s hard to get now for 14 pro max. This had good reviews. When I got it, I thought it felt like that new fake leather Apple is pushing “fine woven” which is a little weird. I’ll give it time to break in, but I can deal with it.I gave it 3 stars because later I went to switch my toggle for vibration and only found it’s the size of a baby’s pinky! And I literally have small hands for a guy. If you have fingernails you’ll probably be ok, but surely they could have made that bigger.

En mi primera caída la funda se rompió totalmente, se me cayó en pavimento y se rompió totalmente, la funda es 0 resistente

Desde el momento que abres la caja se ve que es de una excelente calidad, viene muy protegida la funda y aparte llevo tiempo probando la funda, la he rayado con monedas en mi bolsillo y fácilmente puedo quitar los rayones de la funda. Eso sí, para quitarla es un problema porque se siente de un material muy duro y delicado que parece que se va a romper.
