š¤These are simply amazing, really impressed with them š¤š¤
These are absolutely amazing!! I cannot stress that enough. There has been some extreme snowy/icey weather lately. The grip on them is incredible. They fit nice and tight on boots/shoes. There is also a velcro strap for extra security that goes over the top of the foot. I felt extremely safe when wearing them. Definitely highly recommend.

Grip in ice and even mud is there but how durable are these?
Right now dont have an awful lot of opportunity to try these out but in the coming months there will be more chances and I wil update this review as opportunity permits.Anyone looking at these will also know other products on the market and wont fail to notice the almost exact resemblance they bear to Kahtoolas microspikes but at a much lower price point.Putting that aside for the moment. If you often find yourself in the kinds of conditions where normal shoes dont grip well these will improve traction a lot for you in ice and even sloppy mud (where I put them to use the other day). HOWEVER, these are not an alternative to proper crampons for when conditions require crampons.Unlike the Kahtoolas which seem to be made of thicker welded steel links these are merely folded thinner links. Of course individually welded links would increase the price significantly. How much strain can they bear before they are bent out of shape will remain to be seen, especially when one gets lazy to take them off when traversing sligthly more rocky areas in between icy conditions. The pin/plate patern is identical to the aforementioned brand and that has been proven to work well for a lot of people. Im not a runner so I cant comment on how stable these feel unerfoot when moving at speed but at walking pace they felt adssured. There is a tiny bit of independent movement of the spike plates which I noticed so atempted to pul the rubber harness tigther around my shoe thats where I noticed what may be another issue. When you overstrecth a rubber band you notice that it starts to whiten when youve gone too far. There were some parts of this rubber harness that showed the same whitish areas as if theyve been stretched too far. I have only just pulled them as much as needded to get them over my hiking shoes. A range I would expect these to be comfortable with. Whther this is an indication of just bad material of irregular colour die will need further time to asess. As long as the rubber doesnt snap and the links hold together these are a great tool for the winter outdoorsperson.
