Helly Hansen51598 Men's Daybreaker Fleece Jacket

I purchased the HH day breaker as a mid-layer for a ski trip to Banff. The temps hit a high of -30 due to an attic blast. I wore a compression base, a second base layer, this Helly fleece, a puffer jacket along with a shell over everything. Along with the proper bottom layers, gloves, and face protection, I was warm and never got even a slight chill. Last year I wore the same layers minus the Helly fleece. Great mid-layer, comfy, and proper fit. I am 6’0, 173 and wear a large.The only thing I’m not a fan of is the zipper can be a bit finicky if you don’t hold onto the fabric when you first zip it up. Otherwise, the fleece performs perfectly and is extremely warm for its lightweight polartec feel.Definite buy!

Looks good new and fits well. Jury is still out on the laundering result. It was a gift and I hope the quality matches the durability of the now 7 year old jacket my husband owns.

Wanted to add a fleece for fall/winter wear. 6’3, 280, 3xl was perfect. I would even consider this to be ‘tall’ as it is plenty long enough for my long torso and arms.Shipping was listed as 7 days, but arrived in 3, so thank you to the seller for the surprise.

Thinner than I thought it would be. Comfortable and fits to size. Minus 2 stars for bad delivery, drove over the item with my car because 'who delivers to a garage door?' Cars drive out of garages, that should be obvious.

I’m a huge HH fan, so please don’t use this review to steer you away. This wasn’t a great product. Especially for the price. It doesn’t fit well, feels cheap.
