This actually works! Has a side for adults and children at the bottom has a piece that pops off that you can clean it easily and each side has "adult" or "child" so you know what hole to set it at before use. I love the case too for traveling to keep it safe and secure. I think its worth the money. i wish it wasnt so much more with the case but I did want the case for it for travel. Easy to use. clear instructions. perfect size and thickness. it works!

My husband gets a bad case of the hiccups that last for a couple of hours at least once per year. I get the hiccups a few times per year but they only last 20 minutes or so. This device has stopped our hiccups every single time. We don't travel without it.

It works and is well worth it! - Last year my elderly father got the hiccups that lasted off and on over a week and nothing worked immediately. I felt so bad for him and started researching solutions that would help if it ever came back. Fortunately, I was watching Shark Tank one night when I saw the HiccAway & decided to order one for him. A few weeks ago his hiccups came back again and the straw worked just as described. It's been 3 weeks now and so far so good. -- I don't generally take much time to write reviews but couldn't resist sharing my feedback on such a great product. As a person who gets hiccups a lot, I wanted to try out this product. I have only used it a few times and it worked for me. The problem I have is that in order to use it you need a glass of water with an open top. I typically drink from water bottles or cups with lids (to keep cats out) and having to get a cup of water to use this is not worth it for having hiccups for 30 seconds. If you have them for longer, then this is where I turn. I was hopping I could just pop this in any drink I had, but since its a closed system it is very difficult to wash if anything other than water gets inside. Despite only giving this 4 stars, I would recommend this product.

Gave as a gift. It works for them and they love it. They didn’t know this existed. They would hiccup for 30 minutes or more now they don’t go anywhere without this straw. Solves the hiccups in seconds.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my sister. She always gets horrible hiccups that are painful and piss her off. She has tried it multiple times, following the directions and it does not work.
