This backpack appears to be very well made of durable material. The material is thick enough to hold its shape. The backpack has a sufficient number of well placed pockets but not so many that you forget where you put items. The external USB plug has both USB-A and USB-C connectors. Internally, it lacks a pocket in the main compartment to hold a power bank, but the cord is long enough so that the power bank can rest on the bottom of the compartment. I appreciate that in addition to typical backpack straps there is a top handle and a side handle. One thing that is lacking is attachment points for a shoulder strap. So I took the male (forked) buckles off of the compression straps on the side with the handle, put one-inch D-rings on the straps, and reinserted the straps onto the buckles. Now I can also carry the backpack as a shoulder bag. See the photos. Unfortunately, the backpack does not have a convenient way to store the straps out of the way when carrying it by one of the handles, such as having a pocket for them. One partial solution is to put them through the crosspiece strap that is designed to go over the handle of a rollaboard suitcase.

Best backpack I've ever owned and I have about a dozen. I cannot say enough great things about it. Large capacity, multi functional, exceptionally compartmentalized, padded carry straps and neatly organized; lies flat without a bunch of dangly straps and everything is wonderfully zippered!!! I'm a Brooklyn girl who is used to carrying my whole world on my back. I'm in Michigan now but this works professionally because I can carry it like a briefcase with my laptop and personally for hiking. It opens to a larger capacity than my airport carryon!!! This product seems well constructed and has substantial storage with numerous functional pockets.

Update: our trip was successful and it went as a personal but I have no pic as the flight was not full and he was able to put it up in the binHolds a lot! But that also makes it very heavy. Best for a short trip not overpacked still positiveI must have reviewed 20 luggage backpacks. My two adult children and I are traveling Thursday to Missouri and I did not want to pay for a carry-on so this is what I bought my son who is 23. It did not fit the laptop in the laptop section, but you could easily put it in the part with the clothes. It holds a lot. It is definitely worth the money if you were on the fence definitely buy.

I got this bag when I upgraded to a larger laptop. There is so much space in this bag. It can be easy to lose things with so many compartments. Can be work like a backpack or hand carry bag. Also wired for phone device charging. I love it.

I took a trip from the States to Guam, airline lost my luggage, I didn't carry anything on. Wasn't going to let that happen again. Went on a trip to the UK, bought this bag to specifically carry a few days of clothes. Bag didn't disappoint! Carried 4-5 days of cloths then expanded it to bring back the souvenirs I purchased in the UK, bag was light even stuffed to the gills! This is now my go to bag for short trips!
