Zebra Pen Sarasa Grand Retractable Gel Pen, 1-Pack (45211)

There is not a better pen for the money. The body, its weight, its balancing, the quality of machining, the threads...They're all practically perfect. The grip on this thing is fantastic, and I cannot stress that enough. Whoever designed the center of gravity to sit exactly where it does knows more than just about any other designer on the market. Of course, the thing is also absolutely beautiful and I refuse to take it anywhere outside my home for fear of even scuffing it, though I'll be the first to admit the brass-gold yellow is a particularly stylish accent in the breast pocket of a dark suit. This thing oozes style and excellence, and it writes with ease for hours and hours. It can also take Uniball Jetstreams, and I highly recommend running such a cartridge. After having done that, you'll have in your hand possibly the greatest pen for writing and style for under at least $60. In short, Zebra somehow managed to make the Platonic ideal of a ballpoint click pen and then marketed it for less than 12 dollars. What else can I say? It's the best pen almost anyone will ever own, and manages to do that at a cost lower than a meal at your average fast food restaurant. Buy one and you'll understand.

I am not exaggerating at all when I say that this is the greatest pen ever made.Before now, you have always had to choose between smooth, thick, bold print and fast drying ink.The most popular pen in the world, the G2, is the former. It writes bold and smooth. Hence why it's so popular. But it smears horribly and takes 15 seconds or so to dry!This pen, and i don't know how they did it, writes even SMOOTHER and BOLDER than the G2, while drying INSTANTLY.I uploaded a video with my review where you can see me writing with a "fast drying" 1mm pen my company bought (which I believe is just a custom G2 pen) and this Zebra pen side by side. I smear them as quickly as I could (while doing all this one handed since I was holding my phone, so bear with me) And as you can see, the zebra looks much bolder and crisper and DOES NOT SMEAR AT ALL.How do they even do this????? With so much ink on the page, none of it is wet even a moment after putting it there????I couldn't recommend this enough for left handed people who have to drag their hand across their work as they write. It would be a godsend.I will be using this pen exclusively from now on and can't recommend it enough. It's higher price point is absolutely NOTHING for what you're getting. Seriously.

I enjoy writing with this. They come in a variety of colors and I already have bought them before. They look expensive, they hold up, ink supply is pretty generous as well. I find that they are the best of their type in a moderate price range.

These are my favorite gel ink pens ever. They seem to be the perfect size and weight for comfortable writing, and the refills last a long time. I particularly like the spring clip, which is hinged so that it can clip to various thicknesses without the clip being stressed and eventually wearing out or breaking off. The retractable point mechanism is smooth and durable. An inexpensive but quality writing instrument.

This pen writes so smooth that it has motivated me to take more notes. I get excited every chance I get to use it. This pen has such a satisfying feel on paper, has a sturdy yet simple & elegant design, has a good weight feel in your hand, ink dries fast, and above all does not bleed! Absolute must! My handwriting has improved with more practice and I've gotten plenty of compliments on the pen!

I recently purchased two Zebra pens, one for myself and one for my wife, and I must say, they have exceeded my expectations. Having used cheaper Zebra pens for many years, I was pleasantly surprised by the smoothness and quality of these pens. I specifically bought them for signing important documents, as I've read that their ink is difficult to alter, making them ideal for checks and security.One thing to note is that these pens are slightly on the heavy side, especially for women, in comparison to my beloved Parker pens. They are also a tad longer. However, the writing experience with the Zebra pen is exceptional. It glides effortlessly on paper, and there's no smudging whatsoever. When it comes to writing comfort, these pens truly shine.Overall, I'd rate them four out of five stars, mainly due to their weight and material quality. However, their design is attractive, and the writing quality is top-notch. If I had to make the choice again, I'd still opt for these Zebra pens. They are perfect for smooth, high-quality writing without any smudges, making them an excellent choice, especially for signing important documents.

I've been looking for a pen that looks classy and luxurious without paying a crazy amount. I love this pen! The ink on this pen is amazing. It's a rich black ink and writes smooth. I like my pen points to be bold (.7mm or 1.0mm) and this pen is satisfying. I would buy this pen as a gift. I keep it in my purse to sign important documents.

I love this guy. I tend to try out more budget-oriented pens (sub ~$10), and this one might be my favorite. It does have some quirks, but I really love it.It's quite heavy and feels substantial. I love that about this. The clip protrudes from the top above the button. It's a bit strange, and for some, maybe a dealbreaker, but I kind of like it. The ink does smear, however. Energel refills do fit into this pen, which is what I got it for. However, the default ink that it comes with feels very smooth and I like it. Just keep in mind the smearing. Overall, great pen.
