Meguiar'sMarine RV 45 High Gloss Boat Polish 473ml M4516

Used together with the other components of the three stage restoration kit this will bring back to life dull gelcoat paintwork on the fibreglass sections of your motorhome.You will need plenty of time, good quality cleaning clothes and bags of stamina and enthusiasm. The payback for this will a deep lustre that you won't find on a lot of secondhand showroom models. I have restored the paintwork of several motorhomes that were deemed beyond help as someone else had tried with the wrong cleaners. The film remover comes in several grades and I use the mild and heavy duty ones dependent upon the state of the gelcoat. Once you have the area cleared of all the powdery residue add the polish and apply and buff this until you have the lustre you desire then add the pure wax which will give you a deeper lustre and finish. I top this coat up a couple of times a year to protect the gelcoat finish.I have no affiliation or connection to Meguiars (unfortunately) and my comments are based upon my experience with the product.

Good product really gives a good shine on a large glass fibre boat and it gets good results without a buffer

I used this on my fibreglass hightop on my campervan, following the Meguiars Oxidation remover. The RV 45 has next to no 'cut', so very little cleaning power, so I would advise the oxidation remover or other fibreglass cleaner/compound before using this. The RV 45 did, however, bring a lovely gloss to the now cleaned up gel coat, leaving a nice smooth shiny finish. Very easy to go on, just apply with a foam pad, leave a short while then wipe off with a microfibre cloth. It is important that after this step a wax or sealant of some kind is used to protect the finish, as the RV 45 is not a wax, merely a glaze and has no protection built in.

Perfect for use on a motorhome, but choose a day when the polish isn't going to dry too fast, otherwise it becomes hard work. This product delivers good results, and although it may seem a little pricey, it is worth it.

Used on the fibre glass parts of my motorhome and gave a great result. I reckon a few more coats and it will be gleaming

After much procrastination and research, I brought this to clean up an 18ft Catamaran that had been standing for a year, Very impressed, It did a great job. I was also expecting to have to buy another bottle, but I was left with about quarter of bottle after cleaning both hulls. I would certainly recommend it and use it again.

I have used this on the jell coat finish of my bout and it looked amazing, but as soon as i got some seagull poo on it, I cleaned it of the following day and it leaves a bad stain. it is so bad that I had to re use a rubbing compound to remove it. this must be some chemical reaction with the product and the gull poo, as it was easier to clean before I applied this polish.

I'm posting the same two photos as I did for the oxidation remover, the photo delineated with green dots, shows my oxidized fiberglass before using the fist step Meguiar's Marine/RV Heavy Duty Oxidation Remover. The second photo shows the results after using this polish. I could have kept going but was happy enough with these results. Great products. Do them in small sections for best results as you need to get it wiped off before it dries too much.

This stuff works at least on par with other similar products I have used in the past. Price is a bit higher, though, making it less of a good value. For this price, I expected to be wowed. I was not. It merely works good enough.In the end, my boat looks great. I used this in sequence with the compound and marine wax from this brand. I really feel like the compound and wax do most of the work. The polish is only slightly beneficial, and almost not worth the effort. My boat was in bad shape, though, so I did the whole process.
