I didn’t want a curtain or blinds on the back door anymore but still wanted something to give some privacy. This is perfect. Apart from it being a little tricky to separate the film from the paper backing (might be easier if I had longer nails) it was super easy to put on. It has grids on the back to help with accurate cutting and comes with the tools needed to easily apply. The more soapy water you put on the glass the easier it is to adjust the film to the right spot. Once the water dries it clings tight to the glass and does not fall off. The camera doesn’t do a good job of capturing the colors that come through. The brighter the sun comes through the brighter the colors are.

This product exceeded my expectations all the way around. I was worried that since I have double windows, that not enough sunlight was going to filter through, but the colors and effects are absolutely stunning and vibrant! The colors seem to be the most vibrant when the sun is at the highest point in the sky (pics are posted at varies times of the day) This was also super easy to install, and super easy to remove if you mess up or ever want to take them down. Overall awesome product!

I live in townhouses and I love having my blinds opened letting the sun shine in but where we have big sliding glass doors in our kitchen I hated the fact the houses on the street over could see right through so I bought this to cover the doors. I must say it was very nerve wrecking at first because it would not stay up at the beginning so I used windex instead of water and then took a blow dryer to it and it worked perfect! I absolutely love it especially when the sun hits, it makes a rainbow color! Definitely not bad for the price either!

Very clear with a very light prism effect. Not much privacy, but I think they try to tell you that in the description. However, you want to believe that’s not true due to the pictures. If you want privacy AND rainbows, you might want a different type of film. It was very easy to apply and came with everything you need to apply it well!

I just put this rainbow film up on my windows. This one has a very thin whitish film as the backing. At first, I thought maybe it had no backing because I could not separate the film from the backing. The tip the directions give to use two pieces of tape to pull the film from the backing at a corner works. Also, the backing on this has no graph lines to help with measuring and cutting, which makes it a bit more difficult. This kit comes with a usable razor knife that works very well for trimming the film once it is up on the window; a squeegee that comes in two pieces -- the handle slides into the blade piece; and the world's tiniest spray bottle. I had a bigger spray bottle at home, so I used that. I filled my spray bottle with warm water and one small squirt of liquid dish detergent. I put the film on the bottom half of the windows, to give a little privacy. Each window took one full-width strip and then one narrower strip. I measured the height according to me -- I wanted to be able to stand by the window and have a clear view outside over the top of the film. The more sun is out, the more rainbow effect there is. The film is not very opaque -- just a bit of a blur so people cannot see directly in clearly. It gives a bit of privacy, which is what I wanted. If I wanted more privacy, I would have bought a more opaque film. This one is perfect for my needs. Now I await a sunny day so I can see the full rainbow effect. I got this on sale, and even when not on sale, this is a very good product for the price. I like that it includes ALL the tools needed to do the job. The tools are good enough. AT NIGHT, these windows have lights shining in from outside, including car headlights. The rainbow colors are beautiful. This film has turned those ugly headlights and street lights into a gorgeous display of colors. I highly recommend for those with a city view. UPDATE: On sunny days, the effect is gorgeous - a sprinkle of rainbows on every surface of the room. The window itself is ablaze with sparkling beauty in an array of colors from the whole spectrum. This is the best $6 I've ever spent. This is so pretty and brings so much joy. It's beautiful from the outside, too.

I got this for my bedroom window to let the sun in but not to much!! It’s easy to clean you just whip it down! The sheet is thick I was able to do a whole window with one roll! The light coming through looks like a rainbow now!! It keeps the house a little color as well!

ok first purchase was color Lemon Cloud, but its the same as others. I LOVE it. It really clings if you follow instructions. But is static cling not sticky glue cling. Play of colors is cheerful. At night it shows more reds and blues. No one can see in. I use on lower half of windows in Bedroom and lower half in dining room, So people if they want to look just see my head. Its on all my bathroom windows. It is easy to install, keeps peepers not being able to peep. sponge clean. Nice film. Easy to apply. Creates pretty rainbow effects when the sun shines through. I gave 4 stars because it does NOT completely obscure the glass. We wanted it for a gues bath that faces a neighbors window so we could have max light with no curtain. It’s pretty so we’re keeping it. We just slide the curtain across if we use that bathroom.
